Ive kown Demetrios George since he was 12 years old.. He was the smallest of our group but had the biggest mouth.. no matter where he went he knew if anything went down the big brothers had his back..
weve grown so much since kids from skating pro all over the world to getting pro skates to starting families.. its hard to keep a long lasting friendship these days.. yea weve had our ups and downs but i can proudly say we are on the same page..
with mindset comes growth.. growth that can only happen through life experiences..
we revisited an old spot he tried as a kid after seeing the video Fruitbooter by Joe Navran. Ranier Section specifically.. he ate it bad as a kid and last year we revisited it and conquered it.. you will see the process in the video.. enjoy

I am 40 and Demetrios has been lacing hammers for what seems like 2 decades its truly inspiring to see him still all these years later dropping hammers.

It's a different time. Back in the day wouldn't often see skateboarders come up to give props to rollerbladers (it happened, but not often). Nice to see things have changed.

@@motorizedlifting2534 ehh, you are one of the cool ones. There are a bunch of rollerbladers (myself included) who copped heaps of shit. Jon Elliot mentioned specifically in Barely Dead how he's gotten into fights for being a rollerblader, and he was pro. Go ahead and read my original post, I didn't say all skateboarders, but far too many in that time.

If you'd only shown the successful attempt, you'd never think so much effort and caution went into it... The first rail, the hop to the second, the second rail AND the landing to roll out... was like BUTTER !!! Man love watching these videos with Demetrius and conquering fear. This is how skating was for me in northeast PA and now that I'm rolling again and 40 I have been doing the new age tech and creative stuff too but I have been gradually doing some death rails just for the same mental gain so more power to you brother keep it up!

It's amazing seeing quick clips of tricks like these... but this style of video makes the trick feel more real. Like I'm there with him feeling the tension and anxiety and triumph. You captured the emotions beautifully.
