Same as half the people here I wanna thank you for the MSI center tip. Spent ages messing with my settings in adrenalin and couldn't quite replicate my old nvidia settings. Gamma really is irreplaceable. Excited to try the level setting too once the snow hits again. Also would like to recommend using slightly colder colours around 7000 to 8000 as it looks a little clearer and easier on the eyes in my opinion. Probably a personal preference thing though.
oh good lord thank you, I totally forgot MSI center had this ! I recently switched from Nvidia to Radeon, and still don't understand why they don't allow direct gamma adjustment in their software... Cheers
2 things, 1. having shadows on anything above low actually makes them darker and harder to see people hiding in them 2. AMD adrenaline DOES in fact point you to the windows gamma dccw.exe ( gaming tab, display, and then in the top right desktop colour) you should make a desktop shortcut for dccw. to use DCCW just hit next until you get to the "adjust gamma" page (should be 3rd page in) and then just move the slider up or down to your desired level and just leave it open in the background, when you're done gaming just X out of it.
@@GodriKtv Yea the Gigabyte Control Center doesn't have a Gamma setting unfortunately. I figured you can change the Gamma through Windows but it's sooooooo laborious.
1440p Ryzen 7 3700x 3200 vengeance 6800xt midnight edition Having buonces depending on where i watch and depending on map and daylight. From 58 to 97 with 99 cap even dough i got 144hz screen
"with amd no gamma" Try this. windows key and type> calibrate display> next next next > on preview just turn it up and leave it open on the background. you're welcome
@@GodriKtv contrast and brightness on high could help that. Oh and post fx some sliders on high. But yeah like 85% gamma in the calibrate will make the blacks look greenish grey. Not the best visuals, but at least you can see everything in pitch black (3am raid time) in woods etc. It’s a trade, visual eye candy < competitive edge
my rx580 barely running the game with lowest settings and fsr on quality ... and radeon software doesnt let me change first 4 settings on graphics for some reason , only happens on tarkov
I have a 7900xt and 7800x3d with the same 650 mb. I really don't touch anything in the amd settings, no v sync, no frame generation...Everything is stock. I get a very stable 144 fps which is all they allow without v sync. I made it a bit more sharp from tarkovs menu and added more saturation that's it. You should be in a similar boat with your card.
Honestly.. FPS is key for your rig. It would make life a lot easier when you get onto those high textured maps. I would run textures medium with everything else on low maybe with FSR 2.2 on quality. If that doesn’t give you more fps think about the performance drop down on FSR instead. Let me know how it goes.
@@GodriKtv I promise theres some massive issues with some of the maps. You will load in multiple minutes later - the game will freeze for multiple minutes before loading you back into the lobby etc... I used to only play with textures on high - been playing since 2019 but since streets there have been some major issues with textures on anything other than LOW for all GPUs. I get that visual satisfaction is necessary but honestly with everything else maxed out & only textures on low - you get 90% of the visual fidelity. Most people suggest putting LOD & shadows on super low but that absolutely looks awful & doesnt even help FPS or anything.

I am in the same with your position (I got 7800x3d and 7900xtx but i use normal ips monitor) , I cant find a gamma thing in amd driver, But I use this one instead -->It is in "Display color enchancement" > "Dynamic contrast" then set it to around 7 and set a Brightness to around -25 ,It make you see object in dark area such as in dorm , Nice to meet you I will subscribe If we have any problem about pc can talk together , Really great vid thank you sir
Lower view distance and object distance. Avoid post fx and use monitor and digital vibrance nvidia settings instead. Post fx takes a lot of power. Always have shadows on low (pointless otherwise). Textures on medium, everything else off tbh. Nvidia boost on
@@ForghettiBolognese always happy to help, only get to play in the evenings and I’m new to the game… so stupid me.. I’m going solo 😂. Come hang out later on if you have any other questions
This is good but not the best i have tried, I have around 8000hr in EFT and now run AMD fluid motion frames and Radeon anti lag put full screen on and get 200+ fps and crystal clear picture , i wish people only did this type vid if they really know what they are doing . good luck enjoy the game.
@@GodriKtv texture quality - medium, shadows quality - low, LOD quality - 2 (maybe 2.5, can't check right now because of the patch) visibility - 1000, anti-aliasing - TAA high, rest is off
