I really, really want to love this game, but the desync issues when you get into firefights is really irritating sometimes. Fought a guy on Shoreline a couple of days ago, started shooting him first with an AKM and PS rounds at almost point blank range. I emptied half a mag into him and I STILL died. That kind of stuff pisses me off to no end.
It was really nice of you to put your gun up in the air for him so it didn’t poke him. Shooting him is ok but that would just be rude. I just don’t understand how that’s still a thing
I really would like to try this game out, I'm a big firearms enthusiast. I'm just afraid of the frame drops and netcode wasting the 40$. Pubg frame drops are frustrating enough.
If you cant handle what pubg was like back in its early access days of shit fps and netcode, this game is literally that x2 at the moment. The worst netcode ever recorded by battlenonsense, and thats when it works at its most efficient rate lmao i recommend waiting for when its vastly improved if you want a smooth experience

Global High speed wouldn't solve anything you'd still have the issue of ping and being that tarkov and a lot of other games rely on Client side hit detection rather than Server side hit detection the person with the highest ping wins
I know you want to give this game a chance but it's obvious it's broken and the dev's aren't going to fix it or can't. Just walk away from it and if enough people do this maybe it will send a message to them.

Mama Tata dayz's fundamental problem was that the experience was boring as shit. Combat was sluggish and wonky, loot was extremely hard to come by, inventory and crafting were unintuitive and poorly designed, zombies were broken as fuck, player control (over time) became awkward and unresponsive at times. Instead of addressing these issues first and attempting to salvage their playerbase, they focused all of their efforts into porting the game into their own proprietary engine, forcing them to churn out cosmetics as updates instead of producing actual content. This took much longer than they anticipated and got pushed back further and further due to a key developer stepping down from the project seemingly out of no where and for no reason. Do not compare any game to the cesspool that was dayz.
For those having lag/fps issue's with shoreline. It's worth trying out a memory cleaning app whilst playing. I was use to getting lag/fps drop every 20 seconds or so on shoreline. Started running a memory cleaner app (At 50% memory usage before cleaning). After running this, shoreline is far more playable. Only get the spawn lags at the start and an occasional 3-5 second lag at times (maybe 2-3) throughout a raid. Since using a memory cleaner, I don't get lagged when engaging/being engaged on. No ADS lag either. App im using is Wise Memory Optimizer. Hope this helps.
Hey Devildog, i have a question: If you go in a raid with a insurenced plain weapon, mod it mid-raid and drop it, do you get the plain gun back or with the mods you attached? Ssame for vests and backpacks, do you get the stuff in them back too, or just the item itself?
I actually experienced the lag thing for the first time today. Was holding an angle with a shotgun against a non armored player, and I was in cover. Next second he peeks and blindfires me, dropping me to like 5 fps and he killed me. I honestly hadn't had it happen until today.
I don’t know how you can stand playing on shoreline, the map is just so unoptimized it runs like shit. I’ve only been hopping on shoreline for the peacekeeper tasks otherwise fuck shoreline till they fix that shit lol.
Not gonna lie, i'm glad to see a streamer post the BS. I'm glad to know i'm no the only one this BS is happening to, even though he gets that steamer loot. XD
Anytime I kill high lvl players it is instant lag and I can't search them. Or on the chance i can it breaks my guns and I can't do anything in my own inventory
Jesse Drew you need to get a 16 gb of ram if you don’t already have and put your game on a ssd that fixed my freeze and crash issues and one more thing dust off your pc its a plus

Devildoge, I really haven't noticed any lag on my part, when being shot at. But I have experienced it before and I know it an be a bitch. I hope battlestate steps their game up.
They have. A second netcode analysis by battle(non)sense has shown vast improvements between 0.7 and 0.8. Not anywhere near perfect, but for a team as small as bsg that has been working on content in tandem with their netcode, it is nothing short of impressive. People are seriously trying to undersell what this team is accomplishing out of frustration but bsg is doing a good job. By the progress they've made so far, netcode should be up to par with modern games within the next couple of patches.
I love this game to death. It's so unique and the gunplay is so much fun to mess around with. But last time i signed in was a week ago and when i entered a game my ping was bouncing between 500-2,000ms... Needless to say it was pointless to even try to play. I really hope they figure out the lag troubles soon. I don't want to see this game fall off into the abyss.
they removed the something something which lets you only connect to nearby servers... buuuuuuuuut you can fix that now because in the launcher you can check and uncheck a bunch of servers. (click the gear icon next to the "check for updates) i for example come from central europe and i actually only have to two upper eu servers checked, because ive got problems with the lower 2. and now i have... well i would like to say zero issues, but its not really. but its really really rare now. :)
A) the pso scope is now unlocked through a quest. so do that first. B) you need an sks dovetail mount ("OPSKS DT", skier lvl2) on your op sks in order to put on a a pso... or cobra sights. like a cobra mount with a picatinny rail to mount red dot sighs for example.
The whole thing isn't optimized as it is not done. Kotton and Klean have had issues and they have better settings/computers than Devil. The issues are more prominent in users that record and/or stream the game.Besides that, he actually has the settings higher than on here, but Twitch to file for RU-vid destroys a good portion of the pixels.
