just ran into a pmc on interchange. thought it was a scav untill it began shooting me. so i shoot back and kill it. around the corner another voice yells out and begins attacking me. so i shoot back and.... it's a scav.
Yeah no fucking difference i ran into a bear thinking it was a scav i yelled some shit to him and it didnt attack and walked back inside when i walked in they then screamed contact in broken english and one shot me i really fucking hate eft especially the penalty and reputation system is fuckkng Tarded
pmc weapons were good early on but later its just for attachments. pmcs have the some spawns and patrol routes as scavs. the reason the scav raid is fresh is because the server is created when you load in, there is no history. one of the bear voices sounds like a scav, i use it in pvp mode to trick scavs. lighthouse is one map that is hard to find pmcs, try sunken house to sniper rock and near the main bridge to water treatment. the short raid timers are the only thing i have an issue with. shoreline and lighthouse pretty much requires sj6 and trimadol.
Installed today to try the PVE. After waiting for 5 minutes for a raid, just uninstall it again... Why wait for a matching if it is PVE? Very annoying 😑
Everything you said in this video is valid my man. I've noticed the same things. The worst thing for me is the raid time being so short. My buddy and I will plan a quest run, load in and be on the opposite side of where we need to be. By the time we get to objective there is maybe 14 minutes left in raid and thats IF we don't run into pmcs, scav boss, etc. I hope everything in your video gets fixed soon.
If the pmcs doesnt spawn, the boss is on the map probably. After u killed the boss, there will be spawning pmcs randomly. Try it on factory wirh taguilla.
It sounds like SPT is better(with SAIN). I don't know if you've tried it but if you haven't I'd highly recommend it. I 've never played PvE in tarkov but SPT with mods the AI can loot and extract when they have enough value collected.

@@thomasengland1701 Yeah, I don't think I have a AI limits for bots and it's usually fine but especially on streets there can be some issues. I get 40-50 fps on my laptop on streets and whenever a new batch of AI spawns in it can dip down to like 5-10. The only major issue I had is when it spawned 20 scavs in an small area and they all came to fight me, then it dipped down to 15fps. But if you're willing to play with fewer bots it can still be very manageable performance wise, and many mods like SAIN or Donuts have settings to accommodate fewer AI's but make it feel like a full lobby(I think if your machine struggles they may have settings dynamically spawn or respawn bots depending where you are but i'm not 100% sure about that.)
Biggest frustration is the match making ..20 - 30 mins for a 2 min game in factory is outrageous..can't wait for breakout to go live and never look back at tarkov again
SPT is lightyears away from this mess tbh and it's say a lot. PMC don't move or do something they just wait for you i feel, they don't loot ( or very rarely ) it clearly lack work and i don't believe it's gonna be done
The thing with the pmcs two tapping you or one tapping is it’s hard to adjust this issue since their AI details are 1:1 with raiders do they have to make basically the rouges but less accurate to fix
NGL, I've experienced the same thing with PMC just roaming around the scavs. Today I had one literally standing in place and the scavs didn't attack him even after he killed 2 scavs. Edit: forgot to mention, my theory is that they have some Ai written for their PMCs that have the unheard stuff on and don't attack scavs, essentially boosting the difficulty when you get hit by scavs and PMCs at the same time. Bigger problem I have are the tactics employed by the PMCs, the Ai for them are written so they group together based on whether they're Bear or Usec. I watched my friend get ganged on by a group of PMCs because all of the PMCs on the raid spawned as Bear. You're wrong about the PMC ai being stupid, it depends on level, my friends a high level, every match I'm in with him we get owned by the enemy PMCs and scavs too, but I go play by myself and I obliterate them for the most part. My biggest problem so far is with getting surrounded by groups of PMCs, and the problem with their servers where it says you can connect to server. I've waited 20 minutes just to have that happen, at most it's taken around an hour to get into a game just to get killed instantly, I had one on woods where it spawned me next to 3 scavs and they started shooting me and naded me before I had control of my character.
what would unheard of have to do with it? scav rep no matter how high will NEVER prevent a scav or scav boss from attacking your pmc. it only stops them from attacking your scav.
@@attack125 Then idk, I thought it made them avoid you. I've never actually used the item. just thought it made sense instead of just outright saying they made it so the pmcs and the scavs cooperate to kill you making pve harder
@@dingusbingus7463 you are correct that it makes them less agressive. but not to the point that they could be walking together. the mark of the unheard radio will stop scavs from attacking you if you have high enoegh fence rep. but only if you keep your distance and you haven't killed one. Killing Scavs without being shot first results in a -0.05 Scav karma penalty - The penalty can be negated by killing a PMC wich is actually a reason to not use it. With 6+ Scav karma, Scavs don't shoot on sight if 60+ meters away, unless provoked 60 is quite far. and you get 50% less exp for scav kills. so it's not that usefull of an item. and if they are standing that close to eachother they should still be hostile. no matter what the rep is at. (edit. just making sure the comment is still here. )
@@dingusbingus7463 no i think there is something wrong with the spawning mechanic. some guy said he killed 8 pmc's on factory. wich is impossible only 5 can spawn there. 6 if you load in with a 5 man. so i am thinking some scavs incorrectly spawn as a pmc. but they are still in the party with the scavs they spawned with. and thus not hostile with them. it explains everything. also why the scavs would start attacking me when i just killed a pmc (while i was a scav) it's because that was their team mate.
@@attack125 It would make sense if thats the case, speaking of factory I was doing a scav run earlier and I killed all 5 PMCs, and when I went to start looting I dropped dead, I had plenty of time left and I didnt attack other scavs or anything, It didnt give any info on what killed me. Tarkov'd
The most annoying one is matching as a PMC or a SCAV. Gotta re-queue for the raid 3-5 time to actually play the game. Can't wait for them to allow mods from SPTarkov
The pmc gear was raider gear for the first week it was pristine they changed to dynamic and made the guns shot to balance it. As far as the ai goes for the pmcs I’m fairly certain they took all the ai from the different bots in the game excluding cultists and just threw them In there randomly for the time being. The scav raids probably aren’t going to change because the lack of players I think randomly generated raids might be a bit much for BSG. The raid timers are bugged at the moment Nikita confirmed it yesterday on Twitter hopefully they fix it soon. Usually if there is nothing spawned I’ve found it’s because there is a random roaming ai like a juiced pmc or a boss spawned it’s kinda weird I had it in factory a lot. I’m like 4 tasks away from kappa so far it’s been a blast, getting tasks done was pretty simple the most obnoxious was office kills and tbh anything involving ground zero 😂
why are some extracts not available? I fought a ton of scavs and guards and customs, so when i left to go to smugglers extract its not available. are there pmcs im not aware of taking the extract?? I lost so much gear and time, I thought all the extracts are available since im the only person in the game...
Smugglers boat is random.some times it is available it’s not there all the time.the pmc ai are not aware of extracts.and all extracts are not available some are scave extracts. Check out my other tarkov videos for more information.
The PMC npc are basically like raiders from labs just less overpowered from what I've seen and the ones that do Lazer you probably have an m4 of some type or other high end guns
I think PVE is awesome no lie, but I agree with you on everything. they for sure need to fix the AI and add extended time limits to raids and it'll be perfect. I'm having an easier time on PVP and that says a lot
Yeah i got this problem too with the voice scav but its pmc :/ im agree too with the timer on the map (on the first day release we got more time idk why nikita rekt the timer)
I think the PMC spawns are based on how many players are together. Thats my theory rn at least. I play by myself and come across 25+ scavs and maybe 4 PMCs if I am lucky. 1 raid I only came across 2 scavs and thats because the Goons spawned in. When I play with my friend's though we'll come across 10 or more PMCs. Im still playing with it.
@@EpicCRAZYWOLF it is 100% true. always has been even in pvp. there is x amount of pmc slots per map. and if you are with a 5 man team that means 5 less enemy pmc's. on factory there is a maximum of 5 pmc on the map. IF a 5 man loads into factory it becomes a max of 6. this has been a thing since the start of tarkov. in pvp and thus also in pve. if you load in as a 5 man on factory. you will have ONE enemy pmc on the map. nothing more. (and if you load in as a 4 man you also have ONE enemy pmc) with your "that is not true" YES IT IS TRUE!!!! if you killed 8 pmc's on factory then there is a bug. and this would explain it all. some "scavs" are loading in as a pmc. wich would explain why the pmc i killed on interchange was walking around with a scav being non hostile. because it was supposed to be a scav. it also explains why the scavs became hostile when i killed it. because those scavs thought it was a scav. because it was supposed to be a scav.
straight fact i have 7.5k hours on pvp and normal rail lobbys but then on pve i seem to always run into a normal ai scav that 1 shots no matter how well i play pve is way harder then pvp + the lobby bug need fixing hard jesus most the time i have to restart my game 4-5 times befor it will let me into any raid
Nice bit of info, kudos on the work - coincidingly, i think the AI has always been weird and deserves a looking at, i feel like getting random cracked out bots who 1tap you cross map has always been a thing here and there, PVE seems to make it stand out more. maybe its just me *shrug*
Yup thats cuz bsg implemented it. Bsg does the laziest way of qdding anything always falls short. Gott put in the effort to make anything worth playing. Amd yes the pmcs are just raiders that just spawn in like scavs bro pve in unheard is a fkn joke and a massive cash grab. Funniest part of the whole thing is they are not sing servers for this lol its faster to just play online man hahahaha
Bears team up with scavs, that's why they don't shoot at each other, and bear voice lines sound a lot like scav voice lines. that explains 2 of your complaints the rest are valid
