Just as a slight correction but the Tsunami you may be referring to happened back in 2004 , so I don’t thing this had anything to do with the place being quite ! Have to say that there is also great food outside the resort also to be had and can work out cheaper ! Your chosen resort is actually at the start of what would be termed “ Khao Lak” at the southern end on the mountain road into the place . But you will always find little family runs mini markets and food places within short walking distance from most resorts and the food is of good quality but you may have to wait a little longer for service of the place is busy ! It’s just a “ Thai Thing” and you just have to relax and absorb the vibe and not get stressed ! Glad you enjoyed the massage too 👍it’s always a winner in my books and have been visiting the place for past 16 years now !
Thanks for the feedback. It was some major weather related storm that cause destruction to the property, and cause and issue with tourism just before we arrived. I believed they said it was a tsunami, but maybe you are correct, and it was something else. :)
