I loved the red door cottage! It is also 5 miles from a great tourist town with lots of amenities! I would convert the games room into a holiday let. The first house had absolutely wonderful views as well and a great holiday let...you couldn't go wrong with either property.

As beautiful as the mystery house was, I would prefer the cottage with the red door. Simple living, gorgeous surroundings and cozy! I hope she managed to get that house. I wish we could have updates on ppl shown properties by E. to the C. and how they are doing now. 🙏🙏🙏🙏

What a beautiful woman, she looked more like her sons girlfriend than mother and what a lovely son he is, such a lucky lady, I wish her well in her new life! I pressume the mountain has snow in winter (that first house) hope she's got that in mind...bbrrrr cold in winter...me I'd love it, but I was looking at her shoes, not the most ideal for country rambles...though I see she wore boots to the 2nd home. Can someone tell me please (me being from Oz) why your rooms are called 'reception rooms'..in Oz we would call them lounge rooms because thats what you do in them, whereas 'reception' to me says you are going to welcome guests like a hotel?? Gorgeous area Jules. Curious to see if she picks any, the 2nd was lovely but the first offered more and better scenery..

I am so glad I do NOT have to decide on any of these properties ! I love them all most emphatically! And of course I would be hard put to choose just one!

Ah, no! Snowdonia was more for testing the team, because the weather isn't extreme enough. Hillary's testing ground was the peaks of his native south island of NZ.

I love #2 - very attractive. I'm not sure about the caravan. We didn't get to see inside it. Mystery house - if you made the ground floor an a holiday let, where would you put the kitchen on the 1st. floor? The living room is really impressive. Not much of a community.

Lovely as a retirement home but the idea of making a living year round by renting a couple of caravans seems very unrealistic to me, it actually worries me! Don't know if it's just me or if it is feasible but I hope she asked for advice from her bank or whatever before embarking on such a venture 😬
