Hey guys, thanks for watching the video. Here are some things I'd like to note: - The ending song was made by OSRSBeatz, here is the full song: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-WAU_IBp_2Yc.html - Although my 'name' is Dicerz, I've never taken part in any dicing or shady practices within RuneScape - I will continue this account and make videos on maintaining membership with bonds, but it isn't whats next for the channel.
Cool video, I would only wonder for the high alching why you didn't bring a fire staff instead of the fire runes so you can resell the staff for value and not lose anything
@@juadxnavarro873 what equipments for barrows? i see ibans staff everywhere. but when i google it. it saids 100k gp per recharge. and thats only 120 spells.
@@MCGamerspro You can upgrade it for 200k to make it have 2500 charges. Also, you can charge it "free" if you go all the way through the underground pass.
@@samueljackson3512 Go to 12:43 and pause. There is a magic tree planted near the NPC with the white robes. It means he didn't redeem the bond on "Annste19" the account he was playing on, but just put on f2p gear on another account already member and walked through Taverley gates. Arn Pls spotted it, I only realized this after watching that part again several times and realizing the magic tree was planted on a farming patch - meaning the account wearing green d'hide at the end is a different account already p2p.
Dicerz I've seen at least 5-10 series from OSRS RU-vidrs uploading recently on making a bond. You're the first and only person to talk and explain about Corsair cove I myself had no idea it was even a thing haha. Nice work great way to make money highly recommend doing dragon slayer like dicerz said screw trying to find a spot without it in the other cave Great work
in 2021 i'm using this magnificent series to get a bond as a brand new player and i must say no matter how many times i search for other methods & guides i NEVER find anything better than this i got my total stats up to 530 in just less than a week your videos are the holy grail for me i'm not gonna rest until i get this bond thank you for all your amazing efforts
Yo dicerz can you do a series on. Keeping membership? I have a 30 day amazon prime members ship but I don’t wanna use it unless i can make enough money to buy a couple bonds when it’s up. I’m new to old school and have never had a membership. Just grinding f2p skills so I’m ready
Hey, just a tip when you become member the easiest way to maintain a bond with not much effort is doing herb runs. Also don't forget to get Varrock Easy Diary done, free 15k every day. Also there are money making methods that basically anyone can do such as Killing Chaos Druids, Spinning Flax, Running Air Orbs, Single Nature Runes, Tanning Dragon Hides, and more.
That outro is sick. I remember wanting to go through those doors so badly when i was a noob, about 2005 or so. When i got a membership finally, that was the first thing i did. I opened the gate, and never looked back.
Remember that it doesn't hurt to get a little bit more money before players leave to Member's. Some of the money-making methods require a little investment to get started in order to skip the resource-grinding. I personally like to get a bunch of Iron Ore in advance while I'm still an F2P player in order to prepare for making Steel Bars at the Blast Furnace.
I started playing runescape as a kid back in 2007 but stopped a very long time ago (23 years old now). I decided to grind out the membership for the nostalgia even though i'm quite a successful accountant in real life. I plan on building a large sum of money and just flipping it on the GE performing analytics on reports and data similar to how i stock trade in real life.
It looks like the drops have changed a wee bit, Shamans and Warriors now have the same chance (according to the wiki) to drop rune items. I think it's best to now prioritize the Shamans as they have a bit lower ranged defence. Just did 40-65 ranged and I made about 1.6mil in roughly 20 hours. Cheers for the excellent guide, I really enjoyed actually making a bit of money in f2p.
Aside from corsair cove and zammy wines, this series went over my progression over 2 years in 1999. Rip to my 99 toon, Boesten. Good memories were observed here
Great vids! Any chance we can see a guide for new members? Maybe tailored towards an average player, all F2P quests done, 500+ total skill. Too much to do in P2P, no clue where to start lol. Thanks!
Just keep questing at ur lvls also whenever u have time to make money go ahead there’s tons of guides in utube for money making also quests unlock a lot of things.
I also second the questing reply. With questing you can skip a lot of early boring/tedious skill levels. oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Optimal_quest_guide This optimal quest guide is a pretty decent starting point as well! :)
Awesome, thx. Ill keep that in mind! Any recommendations for starting combat levels? I have everything 40+. Just don't want to waste membership training my early levels up. Cheers.@@DoodleObv
@@AB-ck2ejill keep that in mind, thx! ill also have to look more into the diaries & favours. Not sure where to start there either, or what they really are.
Thank you for making this short series! I would love a "maintain the bond" series next, your accent is fantastic for entertainment and you edit and describe what you do really well. If youre not interested, i want to thank you anyways for the enjoyment these 3 vids gave me :)
Mobile is fantastic! I got bored and didn't play osrs for about a year and then mobile brought me back. There are some things that I prefer to do on pc, but as far as non combat skilling, it's pretty easy and almost meditative to do while watching TV.
despite the drop of wine prices and increase in bond prices, I recommend this 3 part series to anyone planning to leave F2P , it gives you a good foot fold and guides you through leveling your stats to an extent and quests before going to members. otherwise you'd be wasting membership time on the former
That was awesome, I just watched this series and there were a few methods in there that I've not tried yet. I really like your videos and some of these methods are creative, that seems like a good way to spend a weekend in my opinion.
I agree with everyone talking about doing a video on maintaining your membership after you get the 14 day bond. There is so much to do, where do you start? That would be a nice video
There are a lot of good methods which you missed in the series. My personal series would exist almost entirely in the wilderness; Looting steel platebodies, telegrabbing nature runes, selling items to the bandit shop, and killing the low level runite miners are all excellent methods of obtaining quick gold in f2p. Also you need to use the G.E. to your advantage in f2p as a source of passive income. Just leave low buy offers in and wait for your free gold to roll in. As for non-wilderness skilling methods, I would choose Fishing and just grind it out all the way on karamja lobsters, that way when you become a member you can use your fishing level as a good money maker by fishing minnows, karambwans, sharks or dark crabs.
7:12 I trained magic at the hobgoblins by the crafting guild. You can safe spot them from the cow pen. Either across the water in the north or behind the fence in the south. I was tele grabbing limp roots and the good runes. Got impatient and splurged for Chaos runes so I could use fire bolt. Probably cost me about 200k after selling limp roots but leveling speed is almost doubled.
I played f2p for 4 years from age 10 and now im 23 and Im playing it again. Ive never been a member and now I have a job and I dont have to beg my patients for membership, but I still havnt bought it. I know f2p like the back of my hand and tbh Im scared of p2p. I feel like I would be overwhelmed, so a noobs guide to membership would be awesome!
I liked this guide more than the other ones because it shows that the best way to do it, is to really play the game. That's the best way to get a bond, complete f2p then move on to members lol.
This is a confession, i've kept it for years. When i completed dragon slayer for the first time in 2006 i hid behind the rocks after failing to apply hardly any damage to Elvarg. After logging out in a panic and relogging, i found another dude facing elvarg (also struggling, but winning). After watching this other noob defeat Elvarg and after cheering him on, i had a cheeky idea to just pull off his Elvarg's head... it worked and i never ended up killing him myself.
haha that is great! i had no idea that was possible, its certainly something that would have been possible for a while before making it impossible but i can't imagine its do-able today. Great story!
can you do a series on what to do after getting a bond? skills to level, gear, how to work towards maintaining the bond. Your videos are great and helpful. Thanks!
That ending was good, but what coulda topped it was. when you were walking along the castle wall. Going past each tree woulda been a sick transition of your character *via looks* of each stage and phase. hahaha It's what i in-visioned.
Make a series detailing what someone should do once they get membership in order to continually keep the membership without spending cash, progress the stats, and make money to bank.
Where are the safe spots in the cave? Because the shamans keep shooting and kill me before i get to 10 mins. The spot between the rocks doesnt help the shamans shoot me.
When I was a kid fighting that lesser demon, I was so scared and shaking the whole time that I died. I cried because I lost, at the time, all my best gear. The next time I fought the demon, I realized I could attack the demon around the corner of the door's hallway and run back before he could hit me (known as flinching which I didn't know because I was like 9) and I felt like a badass.
The ogress safe spot is a bit dodgy since the aggro timer is really bugged, i'm not sure if theres different timers for shaman and warrior but i always find that if ones not aggressive the other is.
Late pro tip, if you wanna do dragon slayer, get 40 att, 33 str and def, and optionally 37 prayer (not really needed), and an inventory of sword fish. Still easy kill, and end up with 40 att str and def
Nice video. If you don´t mind not progressing the best way I´d recommend is buying feathers at port sarim you can start it at any level al tho level 37 magic is recommended for falador and varrock teleport.
Duuuude the lesser demon 😂😂😂 I had the exact same thing!! I went into that fight when I was a kid with full rune and an inv full of food haha. I was wayyy over prepared bc I was so scared
Most ppl in comments are asking Dicerz to make videos about how to maintain a bond in p2p, but do not know when you show ppl methods there's 2 possible things that can happen depending on the method, 1:The Place can get packed like hill giants and orgess or 2:Whatever you're doing can drop in the G.E for example bird nest, so to everyone out there asking to make videos on how to maintain the bond I really hope you get on the grind when he postes the video XD because dicerz isn't a small youtuber
@Original6Productions in mems XD pking will always mean profit but that means risking so new ppl won't lean to it, but at the same time making money in mems is hard specially with combat because most skills require 60+ or so from what I learn I still haven't found a low level mob or thing to do to make money, other then pick pocketing master farmers, but in mems is alot easier to make money can't deny that and a lot of ways
Hi, it's 2024 and I think bonds are legit 12M instead of 3-5 as the video claims Is a free to play membership still a viable option considering the price?
Everytime i enter the area the shamans automatically attack me and continue to attack me upon respawn preventing me from taking advantage of the 10 minute rule. How do I 'sneak in' without them automatically attacking me? Did Jagex patch this? Update: I would also like to note I was tanking them with food for roughly 10 minutes also so apparently that rule only works if you don't attack them either. With a full inventory of swordies (minus the space required for the proper runes for hialching) I could easily run out of food within the 10 minute mark and they never stopped attacking me and this was with 56 def, 70cb, 50 ranged and all the same gear as you.
I am a single working class man, 11 dollaroos per membership subscription is nothing for me, However, when i was a kid i wasnt allowed to get membership because it cost money, so now i will do what kid me was not able to do, get membership without spending those 11 dollaroos.
now that mobile is out just log into your acount on mobile and redeem the free 1 week members trial and use the members money making methods to earn a bond and just keep repeating that so you keep members
This is what I do. Just wait until you have like 4 or 5 alch-able items to alch them. Switch to rod alch alch alch switch back to bow. Not too much more attention required.
my best easy guess for corsair is that you have varrock and edgevill competing as closest to bank so most would rather choose those 2 and hop worlds at best :D
I got a suggestion for a workin 9-5 video it’s doing wintertodt the catch is instead of selling the gp for cash like maybe you could do wintertodt from 9-5 then at the end talk about how much you’d make if you sold a Ironman account with 99fm and how much you’d sell one with a Phoenix pet that would be really cool
So do the Shamans re-aggro after attacking one of them? They seem to keep attacking me first after very short non-aggro spans. Great video, by the way. Loved this series.
After you finish getting the 3.6m to get a bond, and cry out with joy that the longest possible grind ever is over (right?) You find out a Twisted Bow is 1.2 Billion and a Scythe is around 1.5 Billion ....... Runescape is a game about waiting and crying. And I really like it :)
