It's quite weird hearing about an escape room called hestia's grave given how chill hestia is in Greek mythos and how little other gods wanted to mess with her because she represented the peace in Olympus. I wonder what the story behind this escape room is
It's just the escape room craze was started with Greek mythology named vaults so people wanna copy the name scheme, but there is like 5 important Greek mythological figures that don't conflict hard so they just used random bull
@@mappoeing while I did read Percy Jackson, I have also read many other stories. Hestia represents the hearth, which also connects to inviting guests into your home. The very act of asking for peace. Being the goddess of the hearth, she also is the first to be given sacrifices from people during meals and when in sanctuaries for the gods, keeping the gods at peace. She is also one of the only gods to swear an oath of celebacy, choosing a calm, quiet life. Yes, Percy Jackson is a very common media people go to in order to simplify mythological characters, but that's also because it's based on the actual stories. It's (more or less) accurate.
@@dexterity494 ik i've read almost every rick riordan book and i've read about the info you just gave in the one about the greek gods (Percy Jackson and the Greek Gods) which is based on the real stories (but with a bit of twists to make us modern people understand). the main thing i think to keep in mind is that there's more than one version of the same story in real greek mythology. anyway i think its always good to have someone tell you some info to refresh your mind so thank you for your time :D (not sure if that made sense.)
Hunger doesn't actually go down over time and it only goes down if your walking, Running, and jumping. So combine running and jumping and you'll lose all of your hunger within minutes so that's why people in 2b2t sometimes just walk out of spawn instead of sprint jumping to save hunger when they use an alt or ect
Challenge: make the most elaborated and unstoppable escape plan you can come up with for Pandora's Vault, there can only be one escapist and all guards online
Oh, and I forgot to mention, if someone finds a way ( i doesn't matter how ridiculous it is, it just has to be possible ) in which a guard could stop you, you lose. And yeah, you must have perfect 24/7 guards to make it challenging
Challenge: no touching obsidian. If it is within 1 block of you, its touching. Social distance yourself from that menacing block. Second challenge: One item of your choice, you can only use that item because making you take a year to clear would be too long.
He would ofc use a netherite pickaxe then he doesn't have to 'touch' obsidian . Then he can stay 2-3 blocks away which will be 2-3 metres (plenty of social distancing ) .
challenge: no mouse whether you use keyboard or not for this doesn’t take away from the challenge. since you don’t use a mouse you can’t move your camera direction meaning you have to take inconvenient routes that keep your camera in the same spot while mining, but this challenge is still probably possible if you’re clever. good luck :)

The guards would see you logging in and out, and see your name as right as you log in before you shift. the solution would be to have a mouse with more buttons, so you can bind shift and walk, while using all your other buttons. Also, I think you can bind mouse scrolling up/down as a specific key bind, but im not double checking that
Depending on what plugins are on the server, both logouts would be due to internet crashing so even with some kind of log-out reason detector every game pause looks like the internet is crashing. That just isn’t suspicious

The Guards would go from the guard room to the prison immediately (which does include travel time, of course) and would rather kill Dream than let him escape.

If you have a mouse that has multiple inputs (I have one with 2 side buttons that I have bound to scroll left/right), could you bind those to other inputs, thus reducing the amount of times you have to unplug the router? Also, is scroll wheel up/down also a bindable input?
try to escape any non-trivial prison while only using 1 button. You can choose which one and use your mouse cursor but only one button on any input. so for example you could choose to only use your middle mouse button or R or whatever. (left and right variants of the same type of key are considered seperate)
Challenge idea: You have to instruct/guide someone else with little to no experience without seeing their screen at all, Keep Talking And Nobody Explodes style
@@blockman1814 Macros are considered keyboard keys, I have no idea why, but they are, despite being located on a mouse. You do pose a good point, otherwise.
btw for this escape im assuming with only mouse you only have middle click rmb and lmb as if you had a mouse with tilt scroll or side buttons it would be a lot easier
Cool vidéo, but maybe in the future you shouldn’t do challenges that make viewing less comfortable such as lowering your fov bc it makes watching less enjoyable
i mean this might be a unfair adventage but if you get a gaming mouse with side buttons you can get more options + you can go to apps like steelseries gg or the mouses owner logo (logitech etc.) so you can modify the buttons or if you want it can be ESC so you can beat the time
u can also change controls from the settings from the minecraft menu, and some computer mouses have side buttons which would give you a lot more control
When you mined the last block, how did you run away before resetting? Wouldn't you need to unplug the router and switch keybinds to give your W key back?
I hate to break it to you, but Minecraft fully supports 5-button mice. Also depending on whether or not you consider it cheating some mouse have extra programmable buttons which you can bind to keyboard keys. Plus you can probably find an app to rebind mouse wheel spins to keyboard keys (I don't think Minecraft itself allows you to bind the mouse wheel like this itself). Some mice even have two dimensional mouse wheels so that's four extra keys.
Challenge: Has a limit for amount of blocks broken (Applies to prisoner) You decide the limit, but I recommend one under 120 blocks for a real challenge

challenge: making the prisoner escape without the guard having a few chance to see it (they have to think that the prisoneer is in his cell even if he don't)
the extra two buttons on a mouse are usefull yes if you have a button for back and forward {like back to a previous page in a internet tab} you can set them to anything though the back one instantly backs out it does work
challenge: escape without monitor (you have keyboard and all other things but no screen, somone else helps you by telling you whats where and what you are doing etc. but the other person is in adventure mode)
challenge: (and yes, i genienly want to see this) escape without your montior, and purely rely on sound or something like that OR escape a prison with a slowness zombie constantly chasing you, but you cant trap the zombie, it has to be able to move, and chase you, always
I feel like you could cut down on router reboots by making one button pick block, one button sneak, and one button the pause menu once, toggle sneak, pause again, and turn make them move and mine again so youre still toggled as sneaking but can move and mine, or would this not work?
Escape with only one key from the Pandora's Vault but you dont have anything in your inventory throughout the whole run and you have to complete it in 24 hours
NEW Fastest escape!!! Instead of mining w/ mining fatigue, use the staircase to get acess to the fire at the start, and die to clear the mining fatigue And from what it looks like, there is only 1 elder guardian, so you can save ~16 hours off each block. Or about 20 for the closer ones. This would cut the time from 73 to ~21 irl days. That is almost TWO MONTHS of time save. And a backup plan for when you die from fire too many times? Use the entrance portal decorations to hit the ground to hard.
Challenge: Escape a prison without using your irl hands (ofc you can still use your in game hands, and your irl hands to steady yourself and make sure stuff doesn't fall/break, but you can't use your real life hands to play) This is possible, albeit very VERY annoying, cuz u can still use ur feet, elbows, etc
Just like…get a second minitor and a mouse with at least one side button (they are just generally convenient, have had this one for _YEARS_ ). The second monitor so you do not have to continuously unplug your router to do the escape…or just play in windowed mode so you can go to a diffferent thing to put up the pause menu.
