Oh wow! I haven't seen a Mr. Softee ice cream truck in years. I assumed they just went out of business. Apparently not everywhere? Having been an optician, I'm now retired, I can't help but notice that you wear your glasses all the time. And you look quite nice wearing glasses i might add. In one of your videos you mentioned that your Warby Parker micro cleaning clothe in your bag that you use to clean your glasses. So I would have to assume that you also where your glasses came from as well? Warby Parker is a good bit less expensive than most local optical stores. Their glasses generally sell for around $125.00 I believe. But what if I told you that you could be getting your glasses for under $20.00 and that's including the lenses in your prescription? Sometime ago when I was still an optician and the manager of as rather large well known optical store one of my girls working in the store told me about a glasses site she had heard about from a friend working at a competing optical store. Her friend had just gotten new glasses from that site for $18.00 and she said they looked really great. She showed me the site and I was shocked by how low the prices were for really cute glasses. Anyway I suggested that since she wears glasses she should place an order for glasses in her prescription and our store would pay for them. i really wanted to see just how good the glasses really were and how accurate the prescriptions were. So she picked glasses she really liked and ordered them. She had them sent to her home address and about 10 days later she came walking into work one morning wearing the glasses she had ordered on-line. She was very pleased with them and she felt like the prescription was perfect as well. I checked the quality of the glasses and it was clearly very well made and I then checked the accuracy of the prescription and it was O.D. -1.25 -.25 axis 075 / O.S -1.25 -.50 axis 1.62 which was her exact prescription. Of course when the other girls working in the store saw her new glasses and heard that they came from an on-line site they couldn't wait to check out the site for themselves. It wasn't long before there were more and more really good glasses sites popping up. My girls were ordering from a number of them. Here are 4 sites I found to be the best. Zenni was that first site she ordered from so they are of course one of them. The other 3 are Eye Buy Direct, Lensmart and Payne Glasses. As nice as you look wearing glasses, which you really do look very nice wearing, how nice would it be if you had several pairs of glasses to choose from each morning? I'm guessing you have more than one pair of shoes and several different hand bags as well as a number of outfits. I'm sure you would never consider wearing the same outfit to work everyday, but by wearing the same glasses everyday that's exactly what your doing. I have a feeling that you don't even have a pair of prescription sunglasses to wear on sunny days. Most if not all of the sites offer prescription sunglasses. So I don't when your sue to get your eyes checked again, but when you do, you should ask for these two things. Ask for a copy of your prescription and also ask them to provide your PD measurement as well. I'm sure your asking what that is? It's the distance between your eyes in millimeters. You would need that number in order to place an order for glasses on-line. And since your bf also wears glasses be sure to tell him about this as well.
