@@CheriG870, I would suggest taking at least a week/travel the Country. Panama isn't perfect but it's far less stressful living here than in the States. You can lease a furnished 2/2 condo for less than $1500 a month/that includes all of your utilities & food except electric. If you live outside Panama City, it's possible to find rentals for under $700 a month. If you live in the mountains, electric is usually included/can be found for an affordable price. I too am tired of all the BS in the US. I work in healthcare and am totally disgusted with the way things have turned into a for profit "get em in and get em out" mentality. My question is how to make a living there. I don't see me ever not working in some capacity. And since healthcare jobs are protected in Panama I would have to pivot to some sort of online work, which at 61 I do not look forward to. So at 62 I will probably take SS, get the Pensionado Visa.... sell my house here in Florida and take the leap whether I can find anything online to do or not. Panama City should have a lot of things 'to do' to keep me busy...

I own my home outright in Florida and have investment. My financial planner informed me that just a week, I should work until 67 to maintain my lifestyle. You got a new subscriber. .

Most of the English speaking Caribbean Countries are basically America East. Americans have watered down the local culture to the point where the locals don't recognize their own Country. Panama celebrates their culture/they aren't letting anyone change it. They have cultural festivals almost every month. Americans have to get out of their comfort zone to gel with the rest of the 🌍.
Why Panama is explained in another video. There were reasons. Here's an easy one. No hurricanes in Panama. I was in the DR for Hurricane Maria. No fun at all. Watch that Why Panama video y'all!!

And remember that Panamá is called "crisol de razas " Wich means it's compose of all races of people so welcome family I am Panamanian and parents Jamaican mother Costa Rican and I am black so remember all Panamanians are mixed Spanish and other races so just have patience and thank you for coming this does not mean that it's perfect but you can move around without thinking that you are going to be killed because of your color so just enjoy your stay fám.
