ESD Pak-Mor with a FAST BLADE - Part 1

The City of San Diego’s Pak-Mors are famous on RU-vid for crews working fast to compensate for a super slow blade. But for some reason, 122 has a turbo-speed blade and a higher-pitched PTO whine to compliment it.
This was filmed around November 2017, back when the City got their first CNG rear loaders. I have no idea of truck 122’s status, if anyone sees it around town I’d be interested to see a video.
Lastly, I have two more full length videos of this truck, so stay tuned for more in the coming weeks!

Cool to see some Zarns. I remember when SD was littered with them. I noticed that the license plate says CA Exempt so maybe it’s still alive. However that was two almost three years ago. Great video!

Mendocino Refuse Trucks some routes still have plenty of Zarns. Easily the most durable carts the city ever bought. Thanks!

Good one Andy! Always enjoy ESDs Pak Mors. And this one was no exception! I love the tippers these trucks have. They seem very efficient. Was cool to see all the Zarns too! Keep up the great work!

How do they make the blade run like that? I’m out here in San Antonio Texas working on a slow ass blade…at least the tipper works though lol

I wish I knew man, I think you have to get under the truck and physically adjust if not replace the pump. I've seen videos from San Antonio, y'all are too patient with those New Ways
