Today we take a look at my first NON ElCheapo knife. Just so you know I am not a knife expert. However I do know enough to know I am extremely happy with this purchase. The ESEE 3 MIL Clip Point is the bee's knee's!

First: Great Knife! Second: Turn your clip plate 90 degrees and 3 of the screw holes should line up with the holes in your sheath. Third: Armatus sheaths!!!

Gotta say I've been using this, with the clip point and the combo serrated edge as my primary EDC for 8 years, starting out in structural ironwork (lots of ropes). Different job now but I still love it and love the sheath. I carry it point up clipped onto my belt and 8 years on its still locked in, nowhere near having lost it's tension. I can get this out and into whatever it needs to be into in less than a second it's become an extension of my body. Anyhow, always glad to see a other person come across this instrument definitely something that'll make your life easier, and for the rest of it too. Good buy and thanks for the honest review; maybe the sheath will grow on you as it has me.

I’ve had a ESEE 5 for years and love it. Hindsight being 20/20 I wish I got the 4 but it’s still awesome. I need 3 now.

Keep oil on that edge. My kabars (1095 steel) will rust extremely fast if you are using it. When I worked my folding knives hard I bought midrange and cheap knives. Now I'm in an office with 400 bucks worth of knives in my pockets...

CACTICALMAIN I carry two ZT folders. I have a few fixed blades from kabar and sog I take hunting. I keep a kabar kukri in my bag too.

Great looking knife. Wish they made folders. Just not a huge fan of carrying a fixed blade for edc, especially with that sheath. But if you like it, then rock on brother. I'll stay tuned to see how you're liking it. Have a good one bud.

Hey nice blade, just came from Jarheads Glock range time with ya. Surprised it took me so long to sub. Been searching for a replacement fixed blade and this may be a contender. Thanks for sharing.

The 3Mil and 3 are identical save for the molle compatibility., and lack of orange liner on the Green. The 3PM/3SM have a modified (round) pommel.

Hi I just watched your video today and I have an esee3 s35vn, I'm gonna order a 3mil next week when I get paid but my question to you is do you still carry this knife and if so I'd like to send you a Kydex sheath I just got into making Kydex sheaths over the last couple of months and I've made sheaths for my custom designed knives and also my esee 4 and esee 3 knives . Please let me know if you still EDC this blade I think it'd be awesome to have someone review my sheaths I'll make you a taco style Kydex sheath with belt loop for (scout carry) All I would ask is for your honest feedback.

Glock makes the Glock of knives. According to their website they made “consumer goods” until their knife in 1979 their first pistol in 1980 and e-tool in 83. Kind of funny.

Hey my Bladed Brother ⚔️ I am a knife guy myself. You are so correct calling ESEE the Glock of knives. First off, you can also wear that knife sheath scout style also. Take the screws off the back plate and rotate the plate a quarter ways then re insert the screws. Second, I've been doing some research of my own this year and for the first time, I'm coming up on making my first ESEE purchase also. Thanks for the great video.
