Thanks , just bought one like thajt , had an issue folding the bottom over yesterday in minus 20 weather . Word of warning to anyone with an ice hut , keep your vents open a bit , we had the propane heater on and actually started getting dizzy and weezing from lack of oxygen cause of heater taking up the oxygen , stay safe everyone 😁
I think I might invest in one of the little diesel heaters. As you can pipe the exhaust outside. Might be less to haul around 🤔. The propane heaters is convenient but does give off carbon monoxide and humidity. Beef to be cautious with them.
i have a frabill one, a lot times when i took it down the legs just stuck together and the tent wont fold, i have to wrestle it like a big spider! will try your tips by holding the corner when taking down. thanks
one or two anchors Just so things do not blow away on you if you are by yourself. helps quite a bit. on a windy day it acts like a parachute and will take off even with two people. we were setting up in 40-55km hour winds the other day. If we did not anchor before popping the tent, we were not going to have a tent lol
