Wow, now that's what I call a review because you absolutely nailed it by providing a complete description of what this Ebike brings to the table and what are the features loaded in this cutie pie and I also like the look of it and even a teenager can ride it safely and safety features are way better than what we get in other same categories of Ebikes.

This is a very nice invention actually. E-bikes like this can actually help you to travel to short distances and at the same time supporting green energy. There are a lot of features which will make me consider purchasing this; - It is impossible to steal - It supports green environment - The color - New technology - Battery capacity. - The battery percentage addition.

Talk about a massive upgrade from your normal. I really appreciate the security. The fact that once security features are enabled one touch from a thief and it rings so loud really helps. And the noise can be heard at a distance.Not to mention the indicators provided. It's so difficult to travel in a bike at night but with this one, perfect choice, drivers can be able to tell which direction your heading to giving you a safer way to travel. The are so many features. I am definatly getting myself one. Great job hey.

I have been seriously considering an eBike recently and this is a strong possibility. It stimulated even more research when I learned it is sold in the USA (where I live) with free shipping from Florida to my home in Oregon. That in itself is hard to believe. I am retired and recently sold my Jeep with it's high cost of operation and insurance and this seems to fit my needs so much better. I live in a suburb of Portland with almost no public transportation within walking distance, so even if I would not be too excited using it in rainly weather, it would be sweet when the sun was out. I spent a lot of time on a motorcycle when I was much younger. This definately calls for further research, so thanks for the review.

The features of the ESKUTA bike are quite impressive. The alarm feature enhances the security of the ESKUTA and the key also enables the ESKUTA to be started easily. The charging feature for the ESKUTA is also amazing especially if you don't want to take out the battery for charging. With a powerful motor rear most amazing feature about the ESKUTA is that it doesn't require a driving license before use. Truly, it is an amazing invention with a lots of improvement on it's features as compared to a conventional bike.

Eskuta is Delightfully styled and planned, the Electrically Helped Pedal Cycle is the modern standard in e Bicycles. Proficiency is key to conveyance and Eskuta gives precisely that. The reality the Eskuta is classed as an EAPC or ‘electrically helped pedal cycle’ implies it can be ridden in cycle In the event that a bicycle meets the EAPC prerequisites it’s classed as a ordinary pedal bicycle. This implies you'll ride it on cycle ways and anyplace else pedal bicycles are permitted. in addition it also makes me love it, because it works with an electric battery, and there is no distributing sound form the battery. GOOD JOB.

All of the features that you explained, makes me now want to search for more details and find out if it can be purchased from a vendor in USA and also if a license is required and other additional requirements for operating the vehicle. Just get an e scooter like a segway ninebot max G30 instead. Or similar scooter. Better range better speed, than the eskuta. This product was designed specifically for the U.K. Market. To fit U.K regulations that don’t exist here. Most U.S. states don’t regulate electric bikes or scooters much if at all. ( provides its not as powerful as a motorcycle) . Thus there is no point in buying this when you can legally own something faster here. I live in California and here the D.M.V. / cops Don’t really care what you do on something smaller than 50cc or with a top speed lower than 30 miles an hour. ( provided you follow traffic laws). In some states you can ride a 50cc or lower gas scooter without anything more than a drivers liscence. Make certain to look at your local motor vehicle code to find out what is legal and what isn’t.

Unfortunately EScooters are illegal in the UK which doesn’t make any sense when they are so eco friendly! Great insight into the US law; hopefully legislation changes here to allow faster speed and the legality of E Scooters. EScooters in general in the UK can only be used on private land at the moment; and there are penalties if found on public roads

A standard e-bike doesn’t offer the comfortable seat, pillion passengers, and most don’t come with mirrors or indicators. It’s also very stylish but this comes with attracting thieves just like any e-bike so it’s important that it’s locked up correctly. And if you want to ride, but can’t or can’t afford too (insurance and so forth) a ESkuta is a great alternative. Of course this bike is not for everyone’s tastes, and legally it’s restricted to 15.5mph just like a standard EAPC e-bike.

How much pedal effort do you actually need ?
@BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV Год назад
No pedal effort. Pressing the Green Button gets you going to 7mph, then you take over pedalling and the motor engages. It’s like pedalling down hill on a normal bike. You need to maintain the chain though, every 100-300 miles as it comes loose but simply tightening it with a spanner at the back does the trick. @BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV 2 года назад
Yes, it is. You can attach a throttle to the bike by removing the handlebar (there’s a two pin connector) but ESkuta does not recommend that you do, due to legality reasons and it would void the warranty. Technically, you’d need to have it registered through the DVLA for £55 and wear a motorcycle approved helmet for adding a throttle to make it fully Road compliant.

Is there an option for a DVSA approved throttle?
@BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV Год назад
Yes. There’s two important things to note on a legality basis. Legislation: As soon as you add a throttle, the DVSA class it as a motor vehicle and not a propelled motor bike. You can add any throttle and legally increase the speed of the bike, provided you adhere to the requirements and regulations that a standard 50cc moped would have. This includes but is not limited to registering the bike, license plate, l plates, cbt, insurance, approved helmet etc. Manufactured warranty: Removing the speed limiter or adding a throttle voids any warranty from ESkuta as outlined in their Terms. I do not personally recommend adding a throttle, unless of course you legally follow the process to do so. I hope this answers you’re question. Is it actually 250w or can it be de-restricted? If it's not 250w do you know what it is?
@BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV Год назад
The rear hub motor is 250watts (max output). You could derestrict your ESkuta however this would void any warranty, make it illegal (without registering it as a motorcycle) and would put immense strain on the rear hub motor as it’s only 250w. Alternatively the rear hub motor could be replaced to a higher wattage, but again - the same applies - you’d need to follow the same requirements as a motorcycle and get it registered, insured and have the right license. Even doing it the legal way will still void your warranty with ESkuta if anything was to go wrong. The same also applies if you add a throttle to the e-bike. The company and myself do not recommend you do so and unfortunately won’t be able to advise on how to do it, for the reasons stated above. Hope this helps?

Hi, by doing this you are voiding the warranty, negatively impacting the battery lifespan and range, making it under the class of a Moped(50cc) needing registration and it’s illegal to ride without registration. It is not recommended.

@@a.abdalla4401 Hello, my name is Sara and i work for Eskuta. Alex is correct we always sell these bikes so that you can take advantage of the no tax, insurance or license savings. If people decide to add a throttle or derestrict the bike then that is their decision. We just make sure that the customer is aware that any changes made to the bike post delivery will void the warranty and make the rider liable for tax, insurance and the cost of a CBT license. -The majority of the customer i have spoken with have not felt the need to do either modification.

Unfortunately, the UK legislation sets out that an EAPC must have a maximum speed of 15.5mph, max motor capacity of 250w, and be pedal assist. As soon as you exceed any of these requirements, you’ll be in the 50cc motorcycle range and need to follow DVLA/DVSA regulations to legally use on the road. Including registration insurance and the correct license. Hope this answers you’re question about EBikes. I know EBike laws are different around the world, and some places may restrict the max speed to 20 or 25mph rather than the current 15.5mph the UK has.

Horrible things! I work on a fleet of them for a Pizza delivery company. And no way are they a legal 250W (UK) ..Battery is 48V and the controller is rated 10A. Do the maths.

The ESkuta is completely Road legal and compliant with UK legislation that meets all EAPC classifications. 250w meets one of many required standards for the e-bike. What do you think about the riding experience? A eco friendly way to deliver fast food?

The major selling points to these things is no CBT etc and 14 year olds can ride them. So, as with scooters which got banned because idiots were having too many accidents we are going to see idiots on the roads causing accidents! How many kids or adults for that matter will learn and be tested on the Highway Code? I'd suggest few to none, I've already seen countless examples of bad riding in these 'hey wow' videos, there's no such thing as being safe on our roads without training and passing a test of some sort, remember the cycling proficiency badges we all got at school? Let's see how many deaths there will have to be before legislation is brought in....

It's a peddle bike that goes at 15MPH what on earth are you talking about? Do you really think your average 14 year old can't peddle a normal bike faster than that?
@BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV Год назад
As the previous person stated, it’s a E-Bike which is physically restricted to 15.5mph- you cannot exceed this speed and it’ll usually go slower going up hills. The e-bike can be used in designated cycle lanes, which will reduce accidents. Hope this helps, but you can read the legal advice here. www.eskuta.com/pages/legal

@@BizdustryEV You don't understand. A ebike has to be type approved or its not a legal ebike. Meeting the standard is still not going through the approval process. @@sgsuper1150 It only needs insurance if it’s assisted with a throttle. It's only a 250w motor which is useless and for the price, you're getting ripped off!...It should have at least a 500w but a 750w motor would be ideal.
@BizdustryEV
@BizdustryEV Год назад
Unfortunately as ESkuta are selling it as a EAPC, the company must follow certain regulations which includes the 250m motor restriction. There’s nothing stopping you selling the 250w motor and installing a rear 750 or 1000w motor, but then you’d need a new controller to tell the bike to go faster. This would be only legal to use on private roads unless it was registered as a motor vehicle The company used to do the SCR1200 series, which was classed as a 125 moped category, but this was discontinued. Perhaps they are working on another series? I know I’ve asked the company if I can do the meeting with the CEO, Ian, Interviewing him about his company and then share the answers publicly on the channel. Keep an eye out for this!

The comments are not fake and this video is not sponsored by the company. This is my honest review of the E-Bike. Unfortunately, the bike comes restricted to 15.5mph as this is UK Law for the EAPC class. If you want it to go faster, you need to purchase a more powerful e pedicel, and have it DVLA registered.
