Flys are such an odd thing! It really took cutting out 6 of them and sewing them over and over to get good for me. I totally get it! And I’m glad you’ll try it. It’s really just a few straight seams. They’re just weird 😆
@@SewSewLive yep I often need to do a flat bottom adjustment so I think I might be asking for a fitting problem . I might try a toile as I do like the style a lot

I will admit I agree-mainly on the level of … they’ve done so much work, it’s a fully realized pattern with all the support of their regular patterns (except a print version) and it feels like they are shutting themselves off from making more money on something they’ve already done the work on. You get a lot with their membership of course. But I’m not sure I could do this myself. I think selling it at a higher price without club access would be acceptable. (Meaning it shouldn’t make anyone mad). I’ve heard it’s really easy to sign up for the club and cancel though.
I love your video so far and these pants. I had to stop and ask what weight you'd estimate your canvas is? I have some but I'm thinking it might be too heavy for this pattern with all the details it has. I think mine is 9 oz.
