I'm 17 minutes in, and one thing I would add is do not be afraid to move back or readjust your position if you see an enemy group headed your way. Likely, they will all hit you at the same time if you get stuck in their midst.
I suck at PvP, but what I found helped me the most was: (1) Lots more recovery than I would use for PvE, as mentioned in the video; (2) don't keep changing around your bars/skills - get used to certain slots being certain skills, so that you will automatically use them without having to think about where they are; (3) be way more defensive, as mentioned in the video. As a complete noob I had more fun being a healer in PvP until I got the lay of the land. If you are really not into PvP, then going full defense and just trying to get the event missions done is fine. Vampire Nightblade with a lot of magicka recovery is also a good choice because of the ability to cloak and move quickly while crouching. If I am really in a hurry because of rl commitments, I just use a nightblade and hardly anyone ever sees me. Sure, you don't really learn too much PvP like that, but this is for people who just want event tickets.
Really good tips and i took all of them to heart in my now years of PvP as stamblade main. Super interesting video would be on how to combat REALLY experienced other pvpers or meta builds. What i mean is, that while i can really fight the majority of players and win my fair share, i occasionally meet a player i have almost no chance against. Example: had a 1v1 with a magpplar on open field. Being quite evasive and nimble rather than tanky, can avoid most toppling charges, jabs spams and so on. Waiting patiently for a decent balorgh charge, make sure essence thief and stuhns is procced, incap and spectral bow ready with active mark target on the opponent. Unleash the whole combo, hit it, take down hp instantly to execution range and spam executioner 2h. Magplar just outheals scaled execution damage by spamming breath of life. Rinse and repeat for 10min ending in a draw or defeat if u let it slip for a moment or fuck up your resources (yeah that can still happen). I am sometimes just still suprised with how much ease (very tanky) players remain relatively unaffected by around 8k weapon damage and 25k penetration, obviously fully buffed and for a short time. While i am not so ambitious to be the best of the best, i feel silly as an experienced player in those situations.
For literal years I have been playing PvP and dying all the time. I hated PvP because I was so squishy and everyone seemed to be so tanky that I never seemed to do anything. Then I actually put a real PvP build together and not knowing how to really build one I went with a guide online (not something I do often). The thing that hit me hardest was how little actual damage skills were slotted! In the past, I primarily focused on DPS with 1-2 heals/mitigation. But a real PvP build is primarily focused on self healing with only 2-3 actual damage skills! I had it completely backwards.
I take screen shots of the damage log when I get deleted like that, to find out what ability was used, then try to figure out how to defend against that - dodgeroll? Block? Not be in that zone? haha
How about a series of videos showcasing the abilities skills used by each class so that people less experienced can see the animations and sequences of abilities and skills and use them or become more familiar with them when they see them in PVP and understand how to counteract them.

I have a bad habit of making my own builds, which generally doesn't turn out too well. But now I've made a StamDK that's just sooooo friggin' good, and it's like 100% mine, no "inspiration" from anyone else - using sets/setup that are far from meta. It's really tanky, sustain is great, healing is OP af, and damage is really good too. I've been riding around solo the last few days, rinsing out both PVP event tourists and old veterans that I usually tried not to pick a fight with. Picking up a few good tips here too, thanks.
It looks like you are using a build similar to mine in this video (bomb with soul tether and whirling blades), so here are some questions: My biggest issue at the moment is that too often I go in, want to drop the bomb but instead of stunning multiple people with soul tether and finishing them with the blades, I'm lying flat on the floor immediately after the soul tether or after the first whirling blades and the whole bunch gets away. I have tried elusive mist and shuffle and while they work well to avoid getting stunned before the bomb, I don't see how they can protect me during the bomb, especially when people don't die soon enough or are immune to the soul tether stun. It's somehow irritating that I have a bomb build and I get most of my kills from staying ranged and using bow/silver shards/relentless focus arrow or "wasting" the whole combo on a single target instead of a group. I can theoretically skill race against time now but I think like 2 seconds stun immunity aren't enough for what I feel is the most common problem when a bomb doesn't work. Is shuffle the exact same effect but 5-7 seconds? On the other hand, when I'm on the offense: do soul tether and mass hysteria use the same cooldown? Can I hit people with mass hysteria after they broke free from the soul tether stun? I have tried to figure it out but the actual results are too hard to track for me in practice. Do you always wait for the ulti to have 500 points for bombing or do you go in earlier more often? I liked the suggestion of having prismatic glyphs on all pieces. Previously I have only heard people say to use them on the big pieces. Is that just because it's cheaper, or is there a reason for wanting the small pieces provide only the main resource? Use the sidedoors instead of main gates when you change districts in IC. Then go back and enter again so your bloody Skills are actually working. Or dont use Charge/Leap Skills at all oO
For anyone new to pvp one of the most important things as far as gear goes is you HAVE TO GOLD OUT YOUR WEAPON! Making your weapons gold makes a HUGE difference to your weapon and spell damage. Considering almost all skills are based off of that number its critical that you do this.
"Play every class" BRUH do you understand how much time that would take? Have to do the psijic, and mages/fighters guild every character. Do the daily mount speed increase for two months. Farm the skill points you need from overworld. Farm your sets. Fuck that I'll stick with the one I have done and can actually play.
Nice tips, my friend! I've been in PvP for years now and sometimes I kill a lot of people with my build, that I pieced together myself, but sometimes I just meet a counter build and can't do anything. Like a well organized group of mag sorcs and I'm on my mag blade... And there's very little I can do. Shields, curses, streaks... They're like freaking snipers and I have all divine, so no much rolling. Maybe I'm missing something. What would be your advice? A mag blade against a mag sorc or two, what would you do?
Sometimes i run and they chase and stun me so i just roll right into them and they suddenly run ahead of me cos they didn't expect that and then i can be that mean nightblade that slashes their back
not gonna lie I'm extremely "bad" I literally have zero damage and the toxicity of me asking the other person how they did that turns into name calling saying because I'm trash I follow builds on RU-vid and nothing works or 5 minutes later another "meta" build comes out and everything that was "meta" is now obsolete.

When you aply the health via attribute points you loose the less. All body enchants tri stat and the adjust the attribute points to your need, this way you loose the least because atribute points con only be distributed to 1 ressource.
I really want to try out PVP but I've never gotten too deep into it. My main character is a Nord Dragoknight and I just don't even know what kind of build to even set up or what direction I want for that character and I'm afraid of investing into gear I'll probably never use if I end up not liking that build
So i want to point out a few things about my experience in pvp after watching your video. 1. This video had me redownload the game. 2. I fought and died.. lots and lots of times with my stamplar main. 3. I started to manage resources better... and survival in full medium has increased. Not perfect but better. 4. I train the fight heal los constantly now... thus improving my game plan. 5. Rgt is great for dks/ anything really. 6. My problem is that I can take out some singles, but then inevitably I get ganked from behind by a group from behind and my health goes from 30k to 0 in about a second. I never even get a chance to throw a heal down. How are you able to avoid that?
I noticed how your bar change, ultimates are going off and potions working with no lag. I’m confused, I thought they were not supposed to work in pvp and pvp was ment to be lagging. 😁
I could see dropping it for hurricane, the Stam morph, since it gives minor exped which should stack, and the damage will scale of spell dmg next patch
That's the one class I really don't play because I don't like it. I'd suggest checking out Malcom Eso he's a very good magic sorcerer on pvp and he has good builds
When I see background video i would actually wonder from where u are getting sustain?From where that tankiness? I try to use mirage ,spamming vigor with 25k resistance and my HP is dropping so fast.When i use the things with 2.4k stam recovery with pots and rally active and orzorga and even this drop my resources to bottom........ Is very hard to move especially in BG. Sorcs casting streaks,dks spamming wing ulti,burning and fossizle About crit resistance i havent seen anyone running with sets that resist have Only in cp. Even i try my best ,always someone can just nuke me like a dummy! Another thing is I see a lot of ppl kiting quite fast.Me as nb I cant reach surprise attack range.Everyone kiting Swift trait for jewelry or wild hunt mythic???
It's mainly from being a nightblade using shadowy disguise makes me invisible taking all pressure off me for 3 seconds to reposition into the next target
Even if I cast shadowy disguise there is risk that someone can detect me mostly in BG. But there was many situations in cyrodiil where I was staying hidden and someone detecting me by casting ha..... no camo hunter no inner light just la or ha About shadowy disguise im trying to cast it regularly but there is a lot of abilities in area that can expose me very quickly and deal dmg at once
New video, so I'm hoping someone sees this and can explain the Vateshran's 2-hander buff to me? I see a lot of people using them which leads me to believe I'm interpreting the buff incorrectly. The buff says you generate a stack by using a stamina ability, 30 wd per stack, up to ten stacks, 10 stacks equals 300 wd. Do those stacks fall off individually every 20 seconds? Or does it refresh the timer every time you add a stack so that you can actually get to 10 stacks and therefore the full 300 wd with only having to use a stamina ability on that bar once every 20 seconds to maintain it? I was thinking those stacks fell off individually and that I would never get the full stacks on a buff bar like I see being done a lot. If it refreshes the timer each time you add a stack that changes things dramatically.
When u use a stamina ability it adds another stack. It's a consistent repeat til u get max, however if u medium/heavy attack at 5 stacks the set will proc and reset back down to 0

you see whats going on with the zerg bomb groups right now?..i wont even set foot in cyrodill.zos made zerf buster sets that zergs are using to delete everyone else..lol.all pvp is now its just aoe bombs. zos needs to nerg the zerg buster sets but its not going to happen.i mite sit this patch out.
Just make healers so we do 50v 50 healer duels. That makes pvp so much better. I enjoy when we fight for 50 minutes and no one dies. Dont be that pve guy that give us AP slap some 40k hp with 5 slotted heals and 1 ult and then call your self dps because others dont know that you did 2 mil heal and 200k dmg.
So how does he have so much stamina regen anyway? If you put your skills in Stamina and health how do you get so much regen? Abilities cost about 1-3 k stamina each and he is regenerating about the same amount every 2 seconds, how do you do that?

well when i lag i go to other places to PvP, however if u lag that bad everywhere it could be your internet, as i dont lag bag in most PvE areas except in high congestion places like trials or towns
Just curious whats your opinion about orzorgas blue food with your points in mostly stamina vs lava foot with points in health? I usually use orzorgas because i like the bigger health bar and the option to use bear haunch but i heard something about getting more out of attribute points in health or something
What I don't get, imagine doing a heavy attack on someone as mobile and evasive as this dude. I can't even do wrecking blow or whatever it is called that ability from 2h build that has a cast time of almost 1 second, everybody dodges that shit or something.
Another mistake : playing a meta char (meta setup, skill, race etc.) for the 1st time and thinkin you gonna be instantly a pvpgod, like said in the vid you need fight to improve your skill and comprehension of your gameplay, most of the respected builds creators are veterans. Also its 100% fact than many pvpers are broken asf lol not just cuz we spent all our golds in new way to play but also changement are needed to stay competitive, staying on the same build to long let the time for your enemys to learn how fight against.
