In this video, my group takes on Veteran March of Sacrifices in ESO by going for the Apex Predator trifecta achievement (that's the no death, hard mode, and speed run all simultaneously).
In the video, I go over strategies for every boss fight, review the gear that the support are wearing to maximize survivability, and go into details on how to maximize your no death success on the hard mode.

Great guide. My DDs said race against time was a lifesaver in HM (I cheated using mist form instead which was awesome) My group needs a bit of practice not standing in stupid and focusing down the wolves before we get Apex, but one day

Now since they fixed the bulky boss cheese can we expect another run? ;)

The jumpy dude? They fixed that after all these years? I usually try to avoid March of Sacrifices like the plague, so probably won't make another vid. hahaha. One of my top 3 least favorite dungeons, right after red petal and fang lair.

I have quarrels with this "guide" lol. You have some helpful tips. Race against time can be a big help for someone inexperienced, and not bashing Tarcyr's prance is also my favourite way of skipping his annoying ports and charges. Past that, youre really not helping your group much at all. Ordinarily i wouldn't bother highlighting the mistakes of a sub par tank... but since you done that whole spiel about T-bagging your group, well... you deserve to be called out i think lol. Lets start with your ulti. 1. You have TWO ulti gen sets, and a third on the healer, and are regularly sitting at 500 ult. That's 2 barriers, and Gen'ing ult into the third, that you haven't cast. When you have that many people with barrier slotted... and that much ult gen, just drop them on cooldown. Your group's hurting around you and youre sitting with 500 ulti. 2. You're in Arkasis..... drink a potion. Drink them on cooldown. Drink a potion even if you dont need rss. You might aswell take arkasis off because sometimes you dont drink a potion for 5+ minutes. That alone is -250 ult off of every person. 4 barriers not cast becuase you're not proc'ing your set. 3.cast your Ult THEN drink a potion. Sitting at 270 ult, drinking a potion then popping a barrier or collosus straight after wastes the proc for you. You do it a bit... Now lets touch on the hunt phase. HELP YOUR GROUP. Interupt and debuff the stranglers. Drop caltrops to snare and debuff the dire wolves. Run with them. Even when you dont have a shade. If youre with them, thays an extra 25% chance of them not getting grabbed by a strangler because it targets you. Your group is likely to have deaths in hunt because they're entirety on their own. You're kiting your shade then going and standing and jumping on the trap by yourself. You're a support, not supporting your group. Nobody who dies to wolves or stranglers in hunt with you tanking loke this deserves to be T-bagged. Sure, as a dps or healer, you CAN live it fine without a support. I can solo that HM on a dps... but group survivability GREATLY improves if you help them.

I'm pretty sure I actually explained everything about the ultimates that you said in your comment and also pointed out how terrible a job I did in the actual video. So, I 100% agree with you. I did an absolutely terrible job of doing all the things I said to do. Also, who tea bagged you so bad that you are triggered by a joke between good friends? My friends and I can tea bag each other all we want. We're all friends. Why take this so seriously? Not everyone likes my sense of humor, so if it's not your thing, feel free to move on. Next, we absolutely got the achievement using the strategies I gave. The key for our group was proper call outs and in game communication, not perfect , or even close to perfect, execution of our roles. When I made this vid, which is well over 2 years old, I wasn't very good. I hadn't been tanking for a long time. I started tanking because we never had a good tank. I started making tanking videos because there were no good tanking channels at the time. I record my first clear, make a vid, and move on. Sometimes my worst pulls are the pulls where our group gets the achievement. I'm not wasting time recording another entire video. Since this, I can't count how many people I've helped get this trifecta. I've also never run with the group. It simply isn't necessary. I focus on call outs. The healer and 2 DDs working together and using race against time is more than enough to get the job done if I don't miss a call out. Sure, I can support my group better in game. There is always room for improvement, and if you watched my runs today, my playstyle is much more refined. If you want to start making some tanking videos, I'd support your channel. We need MORE tank content creators. It sounds like you have a lot of good advice. You'll also find that you run into people like yourself. No matter what you do, somebody thinks they know better or will criticize you. It doesn't bother me because you're right about almost everything and I know my actual skills in this video aren't good. Yet... we still got the trifecta, so it doesn't really matter.

@@irreverentaegis I don't have an issue with you t bagging your friends at all. What you do with your friends is a run is completly up to you, That's fine. But you didn't specify your friends, pr this group/run. you literally stated to all watchers "anyone who dies to this" while not helping your group in a titled guide video. I know nobody is perfect, and I dont expect anyone to be, guide or not. I could probably go through all your videos and find critiques, likewise you could mine. Majority of the time, I wouldn't bother. But I do have a problem with anyone calling others out when they themselves are making it harder. That's not particularly directed at you in this run - but more so the influence of you making statements like that in a guide will have on other groups. Tanks looking up trifecta guides will see this and think "well I'm clearly not the problem" when they are being part of the problem. Lets take this dungeon, I can solo this HM. I can duo this trifecta with my wife with probably an 80% success rate. Trifecta 8/10 runs. But you add in 1 bad group member, and my personal chance of dying goes up 10 fold because of things like them outranging the group with their shade so I dont hear the fire dot to roll it... or them running into me with their shade so the charge from their shade cuts me off.... or them kiting dire wolves in wierd places then bringing them back towards me and I get snared and hit by a shade (I dont run race against time, this is arguably onr of the easiest dlc HMs, i dont change any skills here. I just kill the wolves quickly at the start on the way to first trap, they have little hp and the snare is removed the second they die). The point I'm trying to make - is if people play selfishly in a group, chances of people dying sky rockets. The culture of "but you died, not me" is so thick on eso. And encouring others to call out people in a group if they themselves are being a detriment or just doing less than what they can be doing is pretty low lol. Also - you stated that land is always safe first in hunt. That is definitely false. Here's a run of mine to show that - land is poison as first mechanic multiple times in hunt phase ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-riHeGHA-MAc.htmlsi=wxqz9b6pWq7Zn2oN&t=955

@@Jakk-90 I appreciate the discussion. Not that it bothers me, but you came across very aggressive in your first comment. I've heard far worse, though, and usually those people are just wrong. At least you were right about most of the things you said. lol. You came across very chill this time, and I get where you're coming from now. It's appreciated. Let's address the "land" comment first. At 9:45, I absolutely said stay off the land first because you get the poison on the land first in every hunt phase. Did I misspeak later? I didn't catch anything else. I also rewatched my teabagging segment. I'm just going to have to disagree on the general premise of what you're saying. It's been 2+ years since I've made this video, so I went through again to hear how I came across. My tone there was very much a joking tone, at least in my opinion. It actually reminded me of why I made that comment in the first place. We were teasing our healer. He was pretty new at the time (now he's amazing), and it took him like 10 warmup rounds because he kept making mistakes like getting hit by the fire dot or walking onto poison or getting charged into. After that, everyone was so sick of the place that all of us started making mistakes, so we just started teabagging each other to lighten the mood. If people are going to be dicks in the actual game to strangers, it's not because of my video. It's because they're just dicks in the first place. Then finally, since I've now gone back through and listened to myself... I discuss almost everything you pointed out originally very directly in my commentary. I discussed how everyone should move together (including myself) but also said it's less of a big deal if the tank gets separated. I discussed crowd controlling wolves on the first trap so it's easier to kill them so you don't need to deal with them again. I used Agony Totem for this or just dropped my Colossus which stuns at the end. I discussed what everyone should slot on their bars in case they inevitably do get separated during the hunt phase. So I addressed not only what the more ideal situation should be, but also how to survive if mistakes are made. I also pointed out many of my own mistakes, which just happened to be the same mistakes you pointed out. Is it possible that you simply didn't like my comments on teabagging and then specifically looked for things you didn't like because what I said put you in a more contrarian mood? Because if you watch this again, we're saying the exact same things.

@@irreverentaegis if anything - it's more that I don't like support that blame their group for something when they could have helped or are doing bare basics of their role. Really - I shouldn't limit that to support... I've seen dps do it too. It just seems to be more common on healers and MOST common on tanks. Wich is why in my initial comment, I did specify why I was poking at you lol. Mechanic wise, thay is the only thing you got wrong on that fight. The first boss, to this day I have no idea why anyone has ever split the sisters. Since the dlc dropped we have stacked and burned these without a single issue. Stack the snb and healer, archer will do a taking aim (most of the time) and jump to group straight after... then just tank positions on the edge of the negate circle with the other two sisters in it and just nuke all 3... quicker, safer and easier. Also not sure why you - and many others - insist on Ursus last, since she's the only one who can actually kill anyone apart from the taking aim wich is a simple bash. Dagon the bully... well you cheesed it, we won't even talk about that lol. But I since watched a few of your other videos and there's a fair few wrong explained mechanics.

@@Jakk-90 Feel free to comment on them. I put updates/corrections in the video description if I agree with something someone points out. Next time I'm in MoS, I'll stack them up. Sounds legit. Now... don't tell me you have no comment on cheesing something after just telling me you can do something quicker, safer, and easier. That's the whole point of cheesing something. The guide was meant to help someone get the trifecta, not follow all the mechanics, especially when you can just skip them. But, alas, no more cheese. They fixed it over a year ago.
