I wish you knew about Ayurveda when she was suffering from indigestion in the initial or even later stages. Ayurveda has perfect cure to it, i myself am taking treatement for chronic stomach problems from a qualified Ayurvedic Practitioner

If this disease has reached at an uncontrollable stage, radiation therapy is given to get rid of symptoms and ayurveda medicines do the internal healing. Visit or get in contact of any true Ayurveda Practitioner near you or anywhere possible.

I fit this totally about stress. If God gave an award for most stressed....I'd be one of those receiving it... And GERD. Check and check. I have a short time to live... My hope is people literally run, don't walk, to the nearest doc that will listen and get a CT scan, etc asap.

Hi how was the radiation and chemo for 5 weeks? The doctors wanted my dad to have radio/chemo but they insist to have him tube on stomach first to build his nutrition but he is very weak at this stage as he is treated for tuberculosis as well. I'm hesitant to have him.undergo all those things as his health condition

Go and see a doctor for acid reflux or GERD as they call it. The doctors will exame you and a make a diagnose ,if you suffer Gerd or acid reflux then the doctor may refer you to the hospital for specialist .and maybe they will do endoscopy good luck

Probably pain

It’s probably different for everyone. I felt a squeezing sensation in my chest. Every time I felt the squeezing, it felt like I lost my breath (like if someone punched you and knocked the wind out of you). Later on, the tumor at my GE junction grew so much that it started to affect my ability to swallow food. I had regurgitation issues. I asked my primary care doctor for a referal to a Gastroenterologist. He must have described my symptoms to the Gastro doctor, because instead of an appointment, the Gastro recommended an Endoscopy. I was scheduled for an Endoscopy for the day after Thanksgiving, on 11/23/18. On the following Monday, I was at work when I got a call from the Gastroenterologist. He asked if I wanted to discuss the results over the phone or if I wanted to go in for an office visit at 8 am the next day. I chose the office visit. He did mention over the phone that they found a mass, but that’s all he said. The next day I found out that I had Stage III Esophageal Cancer (Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinoma of the GE Junction). I had radiation five days a week and chemo every Thursday, from 01/31/19 to 03/05/19. Then, I had an Esophagectomy in May 2019. My surgery and recovery went well, but I still had regurgitation issues and couldn’t drink large amounts of liquids. I want to mention that prior to my diagnosis, I had a chronic cough for years. I thought it was just due to my allergies/asthma. After my surgery/recovery, I no longer have a chronic cough. I still cough every now and then, but it is not as bad. Unfortunately, one of my current side effects is wheezing (which I didn’t have in the past). Sometimes, after I eat, I get wheezing fits. I may try taking allergy medicine, in case it’s allergy related. I still deal with nausea and vomiting once in awhile, sometimes it feels like food gets stuck in my chest. But I am able to eat most foods (like steak and bread) without any issues. I can drink more liquids now, too. I’m not limited to drinking a few ounces at a time. While I can drink a little bit of soda/carbonated drinks, bubbly drinks are not as pleasurable now. It’s hard to describe.

You might as well pray to a tree ! My son age 11 died in 1986 of Rhabdomyosarcoma, … I prayed for him every single day for 2 years. When I developed Adenocarcinoma of the Esophagus in 1997 STAGE III, … I post surgery was given 6 months to live, … no chemotherapy, … no radiation, … and guess what I NEVER PRAYED ONCE FOR MY LIFE, … NOT ONCE and 22 years later I am 71 and still alive. There is no god, … there are simply people who are not strong enough to stand on their own two feet and deal with there personal issues themselves. If I'm wrong and stand before God, …. he'll have far more to answer for than I do !
