As winter draws to a close there is only one way to look back on our Leviathan hunting attempts for the 23/24 season...
With utter relief that they're coming to an end!
This has, without doubt, been the worst winter's fishing that either of us have ever experienced.
Nevertheless, "He who gives up, will never achieve glory" (Quote: Alex Allan). Therefore, as determined as we were back in October, when naïve and brimming with positivity, we set out yet again in hope, or, more accurately, desperation, in the hunt for a leviathan.
However, this time a 'leviathan' may well be anything over 15lbs.

The great thing about watching you guys go through lean spells is that it lets the rest of us know that its not just us! 😉 Work through it, the fish will come.

You both have my deepest admiration and respect for what you do always entertaining vids that pike that broke the British record is huge the previous 2 records were held in a reservoir 5 and a half miles from my house I'm sure it will get broken again in the future 🎣👊💯💪

Great videos, keep going, its only a matter of time b4 they turn up. I'd just had 6 blanks and finally caught one on a ballbreaker lough. I use oils, but don't inject them into the baits, but dip the lead into them instead, give it a go, pike just like a fresh bait, the oil just attracts them to it.... if its works for you, give me a shout out, cheers

I'm sure it was drained in 2010, and that put an end to the big fish. Signs are looking good for the future though. There's nae bloody Roach in there!!🤣

Google dead fish gartmorn , the roach were in the pond at the left hand side closer to the farm , and the google article will tell u all about it , I’m a local and know the water well
