Monty K Hey! Thanks so much Monty! I love my Eclipse. Its a Tank! I always wanted an M2 7 string but all the guitars that have been produced that I would be interested in are all Baritones... and I’m not into those.. been playing a standard scale length for too long.. but maybe one day they’ll finally produce my dream guitar! I am actually planning on it! I love this guitar and am very happy with it, but after a year of Playing and Touring with it, there are some things that I think people should know about it. Sorry for the late reply.. I have indeed tried "Drop A" (assuming you mean dropping only the B string to A) and it works great. All tunings will require some level of "setup". Of course once the Evertune is in fact set up, You'll be confined to that Tuning. Hope that helps!

Hey thanks for the question! I’ve been playing ESP and LTD Eclipse’s for 10 years or so.. so its a bit difficult for me to say its in the way, for me its in the perfect place. I’m totally comfortable with these guitars.. however your hands are different than mine and you will also play differently. But i will say that this guitar is beautiful and plays like a dream. You should try it. There is an LTD version as well if you dont want to make such an investment. Hope that helps! 🤘🏼😜

Hey dude! I did not experience these things.. is the residue coming from the strings for it bridge saddles? Also is the buzz coming from the string hitting a fret or from the bridge saddle? There are some frequencies throughout the fretboard that I will get some rattling from the springs. But its few and far between.

@@MadManMusic I really appreciate the reply. I believe the black residue is coming from the fretboard which I dont know why because it is ebony. The fret work is flawless and I dont believe the buzzing is coming from the bridge but not entirely sure. It pains me because it is an awesome guitar, the company I purchase it from just said they are willing to exchange it. Again I really appreciate the response!

@@travishutts6008 No Prob! If they'll let you exchange it than that may be the best option. Depending on the kind of buzz and where its coming from is a bit difficult to pinpoint without actually playing the guitar... But exchange it and see if you have the same issue. Could just be an imperfection somewhere.. all guitars have em. Let me know how it goes! \m/(-,-)\m/

Barry Gomez Hey Dude, Thanks for the Questions. The guitar comes tuned in “B Standard”. So you “cant“ specify a tuning. These guitars come from Japan. But the Evertune Will be set up correctly for Standard Tuning. The scale length is 25.5” and the price point is in the ballpark of $2500 which includes a fitted Hardshell Case. Hope that helps! 🤘🏼😊
