That guitar looks great with those gold Fishman. I just ordered exactly the same gold pickups for the same guitar. Hopefully this week I will receive and install it. Btw great tone and awesome playing.

Are you glad you went to the Fishmans? I’m about to throw this same Gold set in almost the same guitar, but the floyd version. Do you still get the low end balls/bite for chugs and Riffs similar to the 81? Especially while in the room pushing air?

I like Fishman Modern more than emg 81, more clean attack and better “reading” sound. But in fact, any sound can be achieved with an amplifier and pedals, and it doesn't matter what pickups you have (emg 81, Fishman Ceramic, Seymour Duncan Nazgul etc) in my opinion, this difference is very insignificant
