Any plans on how to debug using VS Code and the IDF or PlatformIO extensions? I bought an FT2232HL device (ESP-Prog), pointed it to the WinUsb driver (via Zadig), but not sure how to configure it so that OpenOCD starts and load the elf file onto the ESP32. And if you unplug/plug, does the last debug program run, or was the debugger running out of RAM?

Hi... when I try to upload the code.. Only tx lights up on programming board.. Code won't to upload any esp board.. I tried everything... installing driver .. change the esp board but still didn't work.. Any help..?

Hi Puttunh, I think you should ask for support to company and provide them more details about connection of ESP32 MCU and Its programmer. And hope they will guide you on the same. But as you can see in my module it worked even in first attempt. Good luck and best wishes!

I’m getting this error when trying to compile code for ESP8266. I have followed all of your steps can you help me with this error? . Hi Benn, It will take me some time to cover ESP32 related topics of programming with VS Code and PlatformIO. As in my present projects, i'm using STM Micros and due to lack of time to create video. You can expect OpenOCD based debugging of ESP32 in future videos. Good luck and best wishes!
