Review of both versions of the ESP SV Std.
Just to be clear: The Alexi is a great guitar too (had one) (minus the pickups - those suck), so don't get triggered. This one is just better value.
This is the real Jackson Rhoads killer.

This is also used by the Kokko brothers from Kalmah. Wolfgang, if you don't know Kalmah check out the first four albums, you will be absolutely amazed

Im a big fan of 1-humbucker guitars but obviously every now and then a neck pickup is great for those BUBBLY sounding leads hehehe

E-II is not the same quality as the older ESP standard line not by a long shot, have pictures and measurements to prove it.

False. My uncle has worked in the that factory for 20+ years, he says only the logo branding has changed. All materials, builders, and hardware is the exact same. He said if anything the quality control has actually improved due the more expensive steps that the instruments must pass.
