Great Tutorial have following questions : Q> How good is ESP32 Cam ? What is the pixel value of the images (Layman's terms would I be able to recognize faces) Q. How good is your case for external use ? Q. What does the Blynk do ? Q. How can I set-up the UI on my computer screen instead of a phone.
The Blynk software is an IoT server on the internet so you could access the board remotely (not to be confused with Amazon's Blink cameras). Blynk is free for 2 devices, $7/mo for 3 users and 10-20 devices. Blynk also seems to offer compiling and "low code" drag-n-drop coding.
When programming the ESP32 board, the jumper on the FTDI USB board must be placed on 3.3V! You must change (or check) if the 0 ohm resistor is placed correctly to use the external antenna. You should remove the plastic in front of the camera lens!
Is removing the plastic compulsory? I don't think it would stop the cam from working...? I was actually unable to make it work, and i also didn't removed it's cover yet...just so that I can return it, incase
To use an external antenna, just move the resistor next to the connector from the / position to the \ position. It is a 0 ohm resistor so you can just use a solder bridge from point to point if you want.
Dude, you forgot to switch the 0 ohm resistor from internal antenna to the external port, my guess is that your pretty little antennas are not working and all of the traffic has been handled by the onboard ones. Also If I were you i would have printed the cases a bit different, i would put a standardized power connector, like microUSB or a barrel jack, when you are leaving the pins exposed like that you are leaving room for error and i bet connecting the DuPont connectors, wrongly won't be so good for the boards. :)
Great video. Many thanks for your explanation. I had some problems. Led flash blinks continuously (don't know why); I had to change board to AI_Thinker board to load correctly the program. And, finally, don't know to finish app in Blink. Anyway, thanks again.
@@wandaniel4596 Even if you attach an external antenna, the ESP32 will still use the built-it one until you move the sma resistor to a new position. Just google for "esp32-cam antenna resistor"))
I didn't see you demonstrate a live stream, which is kind of a main point if I want to use a VIDEO kamera. If this is only a SNAPSHOT kamera, then I don't see the point in putting it up. Plus, telling us what is the frame rate and size that we can expect would help us a lot.
super cool app, but I think you should add a field where you can add the IP address to each cam or let the app add it by itself for live stream within the app
I am not sure if your "anteena" is working. I'm pretty sure you didn't modify the cam board to enable the external "anttena" It looks as if only the onboard "anteena" is enabled.
Thank you for the Project. I have following queries: 1.Can this be used from a diffrent location (WAN) or only within same network only? 2.How to resolve the problem of changing IP address for live stream. IP address changes everytime I resume power. Thank you!
Hi, I'm searching for a way to connect a microphone to this board and stream the audio together with the video. Or would the esp32 be to slow for that??
The video is very good but since the application did it in Blynk, it is very fast and although I repeated and repeated the video, I could not understand how it does it. The result is that I couldn't get both cameras to work.
Thank you sir for the great tutorial, may I ask if you have a 3D printing design without external antenna? If so, would you mind sharing it? BTW you got my sub♥️
I have problmes getting this to work. The Serial monitor shows Brownout dtector was triggered and the controller restarts over and over. ets Jun 8 2016 00:22:57 rst:0xc (SW_CPU_RESET),boot:0x13 (SPI_FAST_FLASH_BOOT) configsip: 0, SPIWP:0xee clk_drv:0x00,q_drv:0x00,d_drv:0x00,cs0_drv:0x00,hd_drv:0x00,wp_drv:0x00 mode:DIO, clock div:1 load:0x3fff0018,len:4 load:0x3fff001c,len:1216 ho 0 tail 12 room 4 load:0x40078000,len:10944 load:0x40080400,len:6388 entry 0x400806b4 Brownout detector was triggered What is wrong?
It would be really nice to see an example of this using FPV or using SIM module. I I want to implement this in my siege house and there is no wifi connection there. So be able to access it remotely is a bit challenging but I'm sure it is possible. I'm thinking in write a Rest API and host it in AWS, I'm just not sure yet how to build the circuit to it.. hummm...
I need a long-term timelapse 30fp per day during 10/11 months without maintenance and charge. I did't find anyone did it before. Any recommendation? Thanks
Hi sir please help when I am connecting my esp32 cam to power bank its working but in few minutes it heating up ,plzzz tell me what voltage should I give to esp32 cam so it can work properly and don't heat please tell
sir actually we can do it using this same code..in blynk app change button from 'pressed' to 'on'..in that way a lot of pics will be captured and will eventually show as a video..small lag will be there but it's fine. @S7 u can try it..it worked for me

@@ViralScience Cool project! One important thing: if you use external antenna, you will need to move 0R resistor (aka jumper) to another position, or replace it with small drop of solder. This will disconnect internal antenna and connect external one. 0R jumper resistor is really small and is located right near ext antenna socket. Hopefully this was helpful
For connecting the external antenna, you have to desolder the small resistance from internal (onboard antenna) and solder it to external antenna. Otherwise there is no benefit. Please verify. Kindly check: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-visj0KE5VtY.html
Bro please please please make video how to make smart home in your alexa device . I see your privious video how make alexa device in rasberry pi 3b and this video share all my friend and i also like this video. Now asked a simple question when i alexa build i can use rasberry pi zero w. This borad also support wifi and bluetooth. And my last question when use my alexa device then i on my mobile hospot /wifi router. Iam waiting of your answer . Please reply verry soon 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
Bro please take my suggestion to grow your channel😁😀 if you know hindi then please make your second channel in hindi language because in youtube there are less usefull, advance, excellent projects and Your content is also like this Don't close this channel but you should to make your hindi channel 😅😊
