Thrust and slash is also seen in HEMA, but only with two swords and always at the same time.

Last time I have practiced this drill was like a year ago and completely forgot about it since than. I kinda remembered it (muscle memory in an awsome thing!), but I was still like "this isn't quite right, is it?" So thank you for this video, it really helped me a lot! Now I can practice it properly

I'm a little rusty as I haven't practiced since college but your movement looks more like a redonda than a sinawali otherwise thanks for the refresher and keep up what you do.
@mcanastacio

We don’t use the term redonda. Our sinawali may have different faces in comparison.

Can you do some one stick fight drills with a partner, I learnt a little of it 20 years back and would love to see it in action again. Where it looks like a real fight and it can be used with different angles to keep you as a training partner on your toes, so it is not the exact moves repeated rather the angles, I know it's hard to explain, hope you get where I'm coming from

I always look for pleasure from Japan. It is a question. Whether I shift a dagger and a stick and can train

Espada being a kind of knife that the spanish used? Please. Espada is sword in spanish, just that. And, by the way, sombrero is just hat in spanish, it does not refer to the typical hat from northern Mexico.
@mcanastacio
@mcanastacio 4 года назад
Juan Diaz you probably heard me incorrectly.. DAGA is the term commonly referred to as the knife and ESPADA is the sword (obviously I’m not using a real sword in the video lol). Now the type of sword would depend like a rapier, but espada y daga or baraw y daga basically means sword and dagger or as I said “long and short (in terms of ranges)”
