I've heard none of these postgame shows reference the fact that Georgia got 3 defensive line starters back for the Texas game that had been out/limited for most of the season.
Me being a UGA fan I can understand why he thought Texas would win. Georgia had not really looked like Georgia this season. None of their games until Texas ever felt like they were in total control. Looking back they seemed to be sleep walking through their schedule. I'm hoping that this was a wake-up call for them to play like Georgia has played the last three seasons prior to this one.
@@longhitter1566 No. They were slow out the blocks in that game. Although Clemson has played "better" since the Georgia game I still feel like they haven't had a challenge since Georgia.
I see alot of people blaming Beck but a lot of the the interceptions are on timed passes and the recivers not being where they are supposed to be. The interception on that bullshit call that was overturned. That pass was a dig bad so if the reciver is supposed to run to the 10 and come back to the 8 and he runs to the 12 and comes back to the 10. Well that is tough shit because the ball is already out of his hand on target to the 8.
Texas fan here and congrats to the Dawgs for not only a game well-played, but a game superbly coached. Clearly, Georgia's defensive line just 'owned' our offensive line, but I do think Texas did do better defensively by holding Georgia to 285 total yards of offense, understanding that Texas gave the Dawgs a short field on several of their scores. Overall, though, I think Georgia gave my Longhorns an SEC reality-check.
Our defensive talent, which is probably the best pure talent in the NCAA, finally fired on all cylinders. And damn are they good. Now, the offense? They have to get it together offensively -- and finally play a full game on both sides of the ball.

It ain't UGA. It's Kirby. Without the right coach, we'll be average again just like everybody else. Except maybe Ohio State. It doesn't seem to matter who their coach is. They seem to start every season with 10 wins.
Texas main problem is...they didnt play anyone until Georgia..Texas will have atleast 3 losses by years end once the wear and tear of SEC games takes it toll..Bank on it..

why is it so hard for desmond to accept he blew it. it has been no secret that uga has had multiple injuries up to this game that did limit the dawgs ability to play at a championship level and with those athletes back - a beat down of texas.
And Georgia did not play its best football..defense maybe (clemson)...Offensively....may have been the worst performance all year..not even 300 yards total offense..on a good day ..this is a blowout....

Two things can be true at once which ESPN can’t seem to understand. Yes, UGA can be the favorite for 49 straight games, and yes, most everyone for a full week doubted them and had them as the underdog.

Georgia would have dominated Bama too if their edge rushers were in the game and not sitting out injured. Bama wouldnt have stood a chance. All their yards came through the exposure if the C gaps. Oregon doesn't stand a chance against Georgia either.

Look I am a Huge Buckeye fan that lives in Missouri Tiger Country! I do not like the SEC as much as I like the Big 10. I am retired 22-year combat Veteran. Love your show. When the Buckeyes win out they will be in the title hunt period. Go Buckeyes!
