@@OfficerPolynice he was injured for a long time... needed games to regain form... Was poor... But we all still need a guy who's poor season will still end up with 27 goals
Picking Ake over Gvardiol is crazy. Ake may be a little more defensively solid, but Gvardiol absolutely transformed that left side that they always struggled with.
It's funny how swiftly some of these pundits have gone from "Haaland will find it difficult to adapt to Premier League" to "Anyone can score goals playing for City."
Harland is getting a bit over- rated . How could you score 4/5 goals against mid table and relegation team but disappear in big games. His position and pure striker is what help . Other than that against a team that builds a wall or tight space, he will be invisible. I rate Ollie Watkin or Isaak is a better forward than him
Craig front 3 is madness. He said Haaland wasnt particular good and scored penalties yet when you look at Palmer he's had more penalties making up his numbers than Haaland. His reason about City would win the league still without Haaland is crazy. The strength of a team is now disqualifying players. Interesting
@@walkingalive189 come on those charges are yet to be proved and don't cry about those charges , it might be good for Luton town or Sheffield to say so but man utd Chelsea arsenal , they themselves are spending billions so focus on your football rather than searching for reasons to cope with your loss...
Ollie Watkins deserves to be voted the best striker of the season, he had 21 goals and won the award for most assists this season, while helping Villa qualify for the UCL for the first time in over 40 years.
The funny thing about these clowns is that they don’t rate City players but their argument for City winning is because they have the best players. Make it make sense
All top 6 fan channels and media pick majority of their players over City players for the last decade but when City win everything they'll cry that City has the best players we can't compete. I thought Klopp & Arteta are the ones working miracles since Pep apparently doesn't have the best players then he's the one working miracles. Just takes one Premier league title win for a red cartel team and suddenly they have multiple nailed on candidates for all time 11s. How about your so called current all time xi players go and defy human nature and actually defend any trophy for successive campaigns. And no, money doesn't do that as Utd & Chelsea have proved, neither does allegedly dodgy accountants(115) who can't kick a ball. It's a joke.
Yeah man these people just downplay city one of the best teams in whole of europe and consistent since years, Rodri foden haaland walker Gvardiol and even Kdb and Silva desereves to be on everyone's list easily
Getting some in champion league for first time after long time is a better achievement for this guy that some one winning 4 titles in a raw all of you are carpenters
I thought City players were these superstars that Pep gathered from planet Mars. This shows that City is full of players that most top teams won't buy.
Leave it bro , frank is in a league of his own, He chose saliba as the player lf the season too , I respect saliba but i think players like rodri foden and Watkins have far bigger impacts than him for anyone.
What’s funny is that these lots spent weeks criticizing Arteta for picking Raya over Ramsdale. Since it ended up working out for Arsenal, these guys are pretending as if nothing happened.
Manchester city having very few player in team of the year just highlights how much of an underdog story City is for winning the league again. To do that without having the best players, wow.
If the ones with 27 goals were Darwin, Jesus or Rashford, they would’ve give them the player of the season and asked for the BDO. The disrespect to Halaand after saying he would flop in the premier league is insane
At this point City players are on another level, the pundits are leaving them out because they are so good that it would look bad for the other teams 😂
Watkins, in a weaker team, scoring 19 goals without a penalty had a better season than Haaland, with 27 goals, 7 of them penalties, in a much strong team. I know penalty are still goals, but in a crazy squad like city, he shouldve gotten more.
This gives you an insight into precisely why players don't often make great coaches. Some very puzzling selections. High on emotion than solid reasoning.
Ex player's Don't often make great coaches?? Literally Pep, Ancelotti and Zidane are all ex player are one the best manager in the world right now LMAO 😂 Legends like Johan cryff who revolutionize football
@@castilloricky85 The best coaches are midfielders, provided they're not english. Look at Alonso, Zidane, Ancelotti, Pep, Luis Enrique, Conte, Arteta, Simeone, Unai Emery, Xavi just to name a few. Even treble-winner Flick was a midfielder. Modern football clearly favours midfielders.
No credit to Arteta. Most goals, fewest goals conceded, most clean sheets, most goals from set pieces. It's actually criminal giving this to Pep or Emery, particularly how poor Villa ended their last 10 games
Dan 11:12 : "Surely the player of the season should come from the team that wins it." I'd love someone to ask him to explain that. By no means the first time he's confused individual and team performances.
Frank Leboeuf is so thick and Burley saying Haaland scored alot of penalties and yet he's picked Palmer. And apparently getting a good Villa side into 4th is better than a record breaking 4 consecutive title. Absolutely braindead.
I watch only Arsenal games and the big teams when they clash, so can't really select an informed x11, but for what I've seen: Martinez, White, Saliba, Gabriel, Guardivol (due to the screamers), Rice, Odegaard, Rodri, Foden, Palmer, Watkins. Watkins had the most Goals/Assists in the PL, 33. Of that team 5 are English, then add Belingham, Kane to the mix and that's a team to win the Euro's and that's despite of the manager, not because of him.
City winning game plan not giving more goalscoring opportunities for Haaland, has nothing to do with Haaland's abilities. Don't judge Haaland by Pep's game plan
Anyone with a football brain and without bias would award the best player award to Rodri. Foden had a brilliant season but we all have eyes to see that regardless of opponent, City struggles big time without Rodri and if I am not mistaken, all the games they lose this season were without Rodri and that alone says it all
The funniest thing is all of you guys will never drop Haaland for any of this players you name in real life frank cant even explain his decision his confused as everything
Cole Palmer only scored 13 non-penalty goals. Great season but almost half his goal tally ( 13 goals, 9 penalty goals ) is penalty goals. That's in contrast to Haaland's 20 non-penalty goals ( 7 penalty goals ). So to pretend Haaland didn't have a great season because some of his goal tally is disingenuous.
Ask Phil Foden which player he owes a lot of his success to ? Haaland role change has helped City. Teams focus a lot and even more every trying to stop the big Norwegian This helps players like Foden get more room . Palmer or Saka would not have scored more goals than Haaland
TOTALY agree - I think ALL these pundits said the Raya decision was a BIG mistake....went on and on about it..... then they were shown to be ABSOLUTELY WAY off in their opinions and dont wanna eat humble pie and admits their mistakes - just Ego!
