They can't, they won't find anyone who can be the referee that jumps into the middle of the two sweaty, fist swinging boxers that are Shannon Sharpe and Stephen A consistently. Five days a week. For months on end. She definitely shouldn't be giving any opinions, but as far as managing the flow of those two who are notoriously gassed up and long winded, there isn't many who can do that job any better than her if at all.
Shannon was ready to use violence on Molly. Molly made an absolute fool out of herself and Shannon didn’t let her off the hook. Shannon even held Monica and Chiney accountable… without calling them out. ESPN ranking Caitlin lower than the No. 1 Rookie is a joke.
You can leave woke out out of it . Can you just say JOKE ! She has always acknowledged those that came before and layed the foundation for her to thrive. I've not heard Angel acknowledge those that layed the foundation(maybe Sheryl)@@henryfredette6735
It is jealousy, Caitlin Clark signed an eight-year, $28 million contract with Nike that includes a signature shoe line. Caitlin Clark is a generational super star, its pure jealousy. LIVE WITH IT!
Bill Burr said it best. Women don’t want to watch a team come together and compete for a common goal. They want to watch the Housewife series where the women back stab each other and tear each other down. Women are incapable of being true friends. There is always jealousy.
Also loved that while debating Stephen A. she proposed a hypothetical situation and followed it up with "that's a fact". Lol. No Molly, it's pretty much as far from a "fact" as you can get.
Every time I see Caitlyn Clark play, she looks like she is playing a couple of leagues below her. She looks like the one professional in a court full of gifted amateurs. And she has imagination.
The only WNBA story I remember getting heavy coverage in the last 20 years prior to Clark's entry was when one of their players was exchanged in a prisoner swap for the words most dangerous arms dealer.
I think Clark figured out how to play at her pace in the WNBA. At the beginning there is always going to be growing pains. She is way better than Reese. There is no debate.
And it also takes time for the coaches and team to learn and adapt to how the wnba's SC30 plays. They've never played with a player with this level of gravity and just her presence creates openings.
In the beginning, her new teammates and her needed to learn each other's paces and talents. Not to mention she needed to help her new coach figure out how to coach starting with not throwing members of your team under bases at press conferences
First, Molly is NOT an analyst. Second, watching her hate on female stars is just sickening. STILL waiting for ESPN to remove her from First Take. STILL.
Bro, I went to the Dream vs. FEVER game in Atlanta and bro it was 17,776 people there. It was sold out. It was the largest game in Atlanta Dream history and the weren't even there for my squad. Those people were there for Caitlyn Clark. Even Dream fans like myself were there strictly for THE Dream and CC. Bro it was so loud everytime she did something. I mean she could've missed a short and still they were going nuts. Man The WNBA better realize this is just like when MAGIC and Bird came to the NBA and brought the money to it. No one is close to CC in that rookie class. NO ONE. Angel Reese included.
It still is a joke of a league. They finally received a gift they've never had (or deserved) in their entire existence: a true superstar. And they fumbled the ball so bad, they couldn't have handled it worse if they tried.
Don't get it twisted, it's not just because of her These house N created all of this with their messy a-- because they didn't pick her to play on the Olympic basketball team. So your house N started with this crap saying she would have drawn the public to watch. Everything is not about money and Steve A Smith will have you believe she will be the one who gets them the money they want out of the owners. If they had picked her and sat her on the bench Steve A Smith and Shannon Sharpe and others would still be bitching.
Why doesn't the fact that CC and the WNBA team beat the USA Olympic team before they went to the Olympics, ever get mentioned. CC won the gold before the Olympics ever happened. Think about it.
@@BigPapiChi Their priority is often to destroy Clark and not to win. I’ve been saying this since June: She very well may be the best player in the league if the league, refs, and teammates protected and respected her like they did a LeBron James. With an actual league and media conspiracy against her, we are deprived of her greatness and that disgusting league turning a profit for once.
Many of them look metabolically challenged. Too much fat on their bodies to move quickly but it does offer protection from getting injured while sideswiping and knocking Caitlyn around. Must seem like work watching Caitlyn move up and down the court. They are the ones making a mockery out of women's sports.
WNBA was boring before Caitlin Clark. I caught playoff games by accident passing by my tv. Caitlin Clark has me setting reminders for her games on ION. Unbelievable.
All those ESPN Female Analysts are Delusional! In the Beginning, CC (Caitlin Clark) was being Bullied, Double and Triple Teamed. After making a few adjustment, she’s starting to Destroy the Players on all the Opposing Teams. CC is The ROY, The MVP, and The GOAT. Period!
I am not a sexist but these women at ESPN absolutely have no credit left, in fact they are like a bank account that have a negative balance without overdraft protection! 😂
The WNBA was formed when I was in elementary school and all the women athletes were so much more feminine. Who the fk wants to watch the WNBA when they're only relevant when players like Britney Griner is in the news.
@@thesentinelsfootballchanne3212 Have you noticed how hot the Fever look of the court? Seriously, Caitlin, Katie Lou and Temi are head turners and Lexi is a flat out supermodel.
Stupid comments. She is a fantastically great basketball player. That is it. You might want to look up the contributions and awards that Ali has created for a generation of people worldwide wide.
Women: "We deserve as much recognition in sports as the men. " Caitlin Clark comes along and people start paying attention to the WNBA Women: "Well, not that kind of recognition"
I had never watched an WNBA game in my life until Caitlin became a household name. I am now one of Caitlin's biggest fan and watch any WNBA game when she plays in.
I’m sure Molly is not concerned about ESPN making a mockery out of sports journalism when there are far more attractive and smarter journalists than her. 😮
It’s nice to see all the male black and white sports announcers and athletes step up and defend her and her abilities. It’s sad to how many woman have treated her.
Doesn't seem like Caitlins white privilege fits in this narrative. Recognize talent, respect the game, support greatness, shut up and keep it moving. People always have to express what their thinking
It still sucks... seriously, the NBA shows the game played at the absolute elite level ...by comparison, the WNBA is subpar ... it's slower, they can't dunk, they miss layups all the time. LAYUPS. I mean, c'mon...🤦🏿♂️
If nothing I have learned about the WNBA this season is, they aren't ready to be taken seriously. They aren't ready to be a league that has real national interest. When you are a real league, you get criticized and analyzed more. The players and their "analysts" have been exposed as a small time league, with players that want to gatekeep and analysts who are emotionally attached to these gatekeepers current and former players.
Yesterday was a rough day for the haters lmao. CC is one of six women in wnba history to have multiple triple doubles in a season, and she’s a rookie. Think about that. Forget that only two triple doubles in history were earned by a rookie and both belong to her as well. The ROTY race has been a joke but now it’s a laughing stock if you’re trying to argue Reese over Caitlin.
How is ESPN still a thing? It would be hilarious if Caitlyn moved to Europe and played in a better league and made money. Then the European Allstars come to US and beat the crap out of the lame WNBA Allstars. Now that would be awesome!
If ESPN was smart, they would put Molly in a bikini and just have her walk around the set, smiling at the camera while she delivers beer and sandwiches to people who actually know something about sports. The ratings would improve and maybe the network could almost repair the dumpster fire that is their reputation.
CC In the beginning a few of the people who had a problem I was this good, scoffed, I just shook off Probably reminded you of the first time you saw Tiger Woods golf Never thought about how much my race and nationality meant But based on how I ascended, see how plain it was now, they want me to jet No one really gave a fuck about my descent, 'till I took off
Here are the two points that I want to say about the WNBA and Caitlin Clark... #1. Caitlin Clark is the real deal, and I will be really happy the day that I see her get knocked down, and Boston or Smith steps up and knocks down the person that knocked her down on a subsequent play. For some reason, still haven't seen that yet. #2. The WNBA is really good. You can watch a game with or without Caitlin Clark and it will be compelling and you will see some really talented athletes competing. Caitlin Clark is definitely a huge accelerator for the success of the league, but there are tons of very talented players throughout the league who have a real love for the game, and definitely help me get through the NBA off season. I have truly enjoyed this WNBA season. And I look forward to the playoffs! Easily the best year ever for the WNBA, but not just for Clark. For Aja Wilson, for Angel Reese, for Tiffany Mitchell, for Breanna Stewart and Jonquel Jones, and Ionescu and Ogunbowale and Collier and Taurasi and Bonner and Charles and all of the other WNBA greats that are making this season special. Thank you, and I'm really looking forward to seeing how this season plays out!
Clark has shown with her unselfish play, destroyed the Disney, ABC, ESPN hater commentators! ESPN has become a laughing stock with no credibility whatsoever! Go Caitlin & FEVER!👍🏻
Even if you disregard CC's NCAA stats, since it's a different league, she still was qualified to be there over someone like Chelsea Gray (also a PG), who was going in injured, anyway. Dianasaur Taurasi had to make sure Caitlyn couldn't get more golds than her.
@@tool4rage434 CC is the modern day Pistol Pete. So many people forget just how good the man was. There are people who excel in every area of endeavor. They are called prodigies and come along rarely. Pete was one of those and in my opinion so is Ms. Clark.
Go Caitlin!! She's got class. Never heard of the WMBA till NOW. Whiners will whine, haters will hate. Hate to see women tear down women. The classic if I didn't get IT, you shouldn't get IT.
I didn't watch a single women's Olympic game, I've watched almost all Fever games that were televised. These ladies need to let go of their jealousy and say thank you.
People are still worried about the past. It won't change and she wasn't on the team. Clark being on Team USA hasn't diminished her affect and the new focus on the league. She actually needed the time to bond and practice with her team, so that affect has been more positive for her and her team, than her sitting on the bench in the Olympics.
I would say if rookies never make the roster id understand she didn't make the team, but rookies have made the Olympic team. men's and women's in the past, i love how Clark handled not making the team, she didn't throw shade . I do think it gave Clark a good amount of rest and it's showing in her play since the asg. I never watch a wnba until her i can't believe how much hate she gets.
I hope that in ‘28, Caitlin Clark pulls an Arike Ogunbowale move and says, “Thanks, but no thanks.” When Arike pulled out of Olympic consideration, I INSTANTLY became a fan of hers. She’s FIRE AND … knows she doesn’t need that political nonsense.
Oh YES!! I became a big fan of Arike too. She is fabulous and I don't like much about or from Texas. I started watching her on the Wings as well as all the Indiana team.
We will see if that happens. If CC will not be awarded the ROTY award I would honestly be packing and go to other leagues and let the WNBA If I were her
I'm the biggest WNBA hater. I thought they were useless and thought I'd break prime Diana Taurasi's ankles as a freshman in high school. Caitlin Clark opened my eyes.
Clark exposed how bad the talent was and is in the WNBA, that's why people weren't watching with very low attendance.... With the arrival of Caitlin Clark that has all changed............
Chelsea Gray could barely walk. Taurasi didn’t play in the final game. THAT is disrespectful. They brought a team based on sentiment not talent. And came extremely close to losing gold.
Clark is hated on merely for being the best player on the court. Those barbie ballers she is playing with look almost as if they are standing still when CC does her thing.
Better yet, she should find a country, England or Ireland for example, that will give her 'citizenship' to play in the Olympics, and beat the tar out of team USA.
