As a die hard Washington fan we deserve to be great again I’m only 29 so I never seen those 3 Super Bowls it’s our time now #RaiseHail #HTTR #HTTC💯🚦❤️💛
To keep speaking about the past with this team is crazy..everything about this team is new nobody knows what’s going to happen. So to keep saying what happened in the past tells me the people just don’t know what to say.
I don't care how good you are at passing you need to run the ball. I think the running game will surprise some people and that will make it much easier for Jayden. Running the ball screens and quick passes slow down a DL. Last year they had coaches that didn't adjust to anything, I don't think that will be the case for this staff
His point is you all are making baseless statements like "you have to run the ball" when in reality you do not. Quick passing game has supplanted the run. It's exactly what Bienemy had installed last season that Howell was too low football IQ to grasp. You run off of an effective passing game now, not the other way around.
The Offensive line is still missing some critical pieces of the puzzle, the defense is a top five defensive in football but there are concerns on the offensive line.
Washington is gonna surprise a lot of ppl this season definitely gonna make a playoff push I can see 10 wins, the defense was terrible last season if DQ & Joe Whitt Jr can get the defense to top 15 in NFL this team gonna be a problem. Jayden Daniels has the perfect temperament for a rookie willing to put in the work yet he has a confidence about him despite the humbleness. Much like CJ Stroud last season I believe as the season go on the Kliff will put more and more on his plate & we gonna see some amazing things from Daniels. You can feel the excitement around this team from Adam Peters to DQ and the atmosphere the set. They truly believe this team will compete this season, this team is gonna be a tough out no matter who they play. They believe in their motto "Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere"
Yeah, JD is gonna ball but don't think much will happen this year. Too much team turnover and newness to provide the platform needed to make a playoff push. Listen from what we've had here for the last 25 yrs, simply playing consistent NFL-level football on both sides will be a major improvement.
I could care less about wins this season as long as Daniels looks good that's all that matters. If he can show he's good they can continue to build around him. We still have a lot of money in FA and we still have all our picks. We didn't mortgage the future to get him. Just show me you are good and we have something and let's build. If the defense can play better even middle of the road it gives the offense to do enough to win games. We won't win games if the defense is giving up 30+ points a game. The secondary is still a giant question mark. Forbes is a bust they need to realize that and trade his ass for whatever and move on. I can go back and pull up all my comments from last year after the draft said he would be a bust and I'm 100% correct. I don't give a shit how much he ball hawked in college his lack of size IS a MAJOR issue in the NFL and it showed all year last year. NFC East WR all outweighed him by at least 25 or more lbs. Size matters in the NFL in 2024. This isn't 1960 where bros with soccer dad bods are star players. You have to have size and speed not just one or the other.
My issues with JD is, 1 he took a lot of sacks in college, and we won't have the best line, 2 he is slender and doesn't protect himself, everyone remembers RGIII, and 3 he doesn't throw over the middle, only using the outside the marks, that is missing a large part of the field. I am a huge Washington fan from back when they were winning Super Bowls, and pray we are on the right track to at least make some noise in the league. We have been a laughing stock for over a quarter century.
I agree. I think that if he can continue to be elite on the fades and long ball that will open up the middle. The hardest routes are the routes that he’s been best at. Some of the passes I’ve seen are not defensible at any level. Also he needs to understand that running is he absolutely last option and to do so to gain a first down only not 50 yards. WE WILL SEE!
I think you just follow media. You clearly did not watch tape if you think kyler was the problem in AZ. How are you going to take a failed college coach and make a successful nfl coach? Kliff expected hero ball, look at dhops route tree for his time in AZ and it speaks for itself
@@JWLSportsbrother wtf are you talking about? 😂😂😂 EVERY media including here in AZ took jabs at him the entire time Kliff was here. After the second season everyone in AZ knew it was Kliff. Kyler most definitely had faults. Kliff could not scheme anything past screens and hero ball. It was the most obvious offensive play calling on the planet and that’s why it couldn’t work. Dhop stayed on the left side of the field and did not move more than 5yrds passed the sticks. Kyler has literally said he wanted under center and was denied that. This upcoming year is going to be by far the best o-line he’s ever had, and finally he has an office that supports him. I’m not at all saying he’s without fault, a 22yo needed to learn how to lead 30-35yo’s.
As long as Kingbury doesn't shove his head up his own ass & pull a Beinemy I believe JD5 will have a successful rookie season. The guys will rally behind him & he's got the gifts. Let's just not have him close to Mahomes in passing yards & we'll be ok. #HTTR baby 💪🏿💪🏿
I definitely think we have a shot at moving in advancing quickly with JD and DQ's defense to the point so much other teams will try to use the same exact formula
I love how all of these ESPN analysts comment on the Redskins O-line & basically are stating that it is less than average (maybe even awful). How the F do they know? They are national analysts & I can pretty much guarantee that they have no clue about the players or level of talent for that unit (nor for the team for that matter). This is so typical for clueless national media w/ very few exceptions. Don't get me wrong - this OL has a long ways to go to be a solid unit. However they are making progress in this area by adding some talent via free agency and the draft & in upgrading the coaching staff. I believe that the middle 3 OL players will do pretty well & be a big upgrade over last season. The tackles are TBD but could do alright. For better or worse we really won't know about this unit until they play some regular season games, but I am hopeful (but realize like the rest of the team it will take several years to fully upgrade). We will see - HTTR
I agree 120% with ya sir!!!! & right now there is no telling what the team is gonna do. On paper we look like we can be a team you don't want to have to play. Or we can go through growing pains. I'm liking the 1st outcome.
Cliff is not a great OC an adjustments to the game is laughable. If anything he didn't adjust that's y he got fired. Threw the ball way to much. U pass to run run to pass. Thats championship football. He's anything but Ballance
I mean he did the best he could with what he had and had a tremendous amount of success with Arizona despite being plagued by terrible ownership and cluster injuries.
