Currently, the Vikings are second in scoring in the NFL and the defense is 2nd in the NFL for allowing points. The defense is rated no. 3 and Darnold has the most TDs in the NFL.

I'm not saying we sucked because of Cousins, but I'm glad to no longer be watching successive there-and-outs or check-downs to the receiver two yards out. Then again, Darnold has a QB rating of 117.3 and Cousins 89.7. Maybe it was Cousins.

Kirk kept us competitive. For the Vikes, he was an important, foundational piece in a difficult time. We are better without him, but credit where credit is due. He is a good player.
