Most emotion charged game I have been to. Absolutely fantastic. Wanganeen's courage - deserved Brownlow medallist. Hird's class even at that age. Without this would not have won the flag... May have even missed the finals!

I remember watching this on TV. It was so brilliant. At the start of th year, I got this really weird feeling the boys would win the Premiership. They were terrible in 1992 and no one gave them a chance. It was so sweet being able to say "I told you so" especially to Cro

I remember a few great things about this game. Seeing the potential of James Hird, seeing sheedy wave his jacket with joy and making a bet with my Dad that we'd win the grand final. I was 12.

@cmloz its how effective the posseessions are not the amount that matters. or shouldnt. look at Buckley.... got a heap of possessions but most of the time hed kick it straight to the opposition. but O'Donnell was a good solid player. Grenvold was very underrated
