As a no Essendon entity I have to say that after all the injustice of the supplement scandal I agree.

That's a massive call.....but yesterday was a fantastic win, easily our best of the year thus far, and one of the best games too, giants didn't play all that badly! I'm excited. If we can put in 4 qtr efforts like yesterday, we'll finish well this season. Even after qtr time, the scoreboard was the only real contrast between the two teams, I wasn't all that worried then. Great effort by the Bombers.

I don’t agree, the Bombers of 2000 didn’t just win, they demolished their opposition. Lucas, Lloyd, Hird, Mercuri, the Johnsons, - we are a far cry from 2000.

@@aciavarella That's why I said "Bits and pieces" mate. I missed a lot of Footy from the end of 2004 until the 2016!!! I went through a lot of dirt in 2003-2004 as a young lad at 12/13 years of age and being of Filipino / Australian background. Footy didn't exist in my world for about 12/13 years and it was all American / NFL stuff... But I'm glad we're finally doing some great stuff again. I started watching during 2000 as an 8 year old and back then I had no idea I was watching a once in a lifetime thing.

Agreed. Despite the lid starting to crack, we've been fooled by this movie before. Lid will be off once a win in September is achieved.

they can perform in front of big crowds. Every year at the indigenous round agents Richmond and Anzac Day games. they can beat Melbourne and they can beat Carlton and I can confidently say that after the previously years. Dons are playing a way that’s different and it’s so good to watch thanks to Brad Scott. I honestly believe they deserve to be 3rd on the ladder. I usually hope to win a final but it feels like we’re getting more than just that at the moment. if the boys can keep building and learning on this then they will be a force to be recond with. the fans are already getting behind them and I feel like something special is in the making. Up the dons.

Essendon are dangerous when they pull a crowd. Can drown out Collingwood fans when they are winning. Definitely not a fun side to play in Melbourne.

Giants are heavily overrated, best team they have beat was a badly out of form collingwood.

Draw with Collingwood in front of nearly 100,000, kick 100 points on Sydney in Sydney and looked strong through the game. then beat GWS that had a full side that was not long ago premiered favourites. you gotta give credit when it’s due mate.

Have you forgotten Essendon is your biggest rival and that their fans will find any excuse to rubbish your club? Essendon vs Carlton is always one of the biggest if not the biggest fixture of the season for both clubs

Technically, Marvel is Essendon's home ground. I'd love them to play the GF there if we make it because we play our best footy there, but the AFL wants the GF at the biggest ground. Get a 100,000+ seat stadium and we'll talk.
