As it stands today, both Essenger and The Midnight have provided the unofficial soundtrack of my senior year of high school and freshman year of college. Reality shifts into shades of rose when I cruise up the coast after class with their iconic trademarks of synthetic soundscapes. Thanks for making all of us feel like main characters, Essenger. Keep the silence turned up loud!

One of my dream collabs come to life. The fact that this was originally supposed to be on After Dark is even more beautiful, because that entire album is how I got into Essenger back in 2019/2020. That vocal delivery at 2:28 is so powerful. Just 10/10, man.
