Hands down the best damn guide I've seen on Irelia combos, everyone else is just "Guys this combo is SO IMPORTANT" then just mashes keys and tells you to follow along.
I would always recommend using ranged minions since they are closer to the enemy. You can also make things easier by standing closer to the minion you are E-Qing on. When you stand far away, the E gets cased visibly before the Q and the effect is negated.
I am honestly surprised that you have only 90 subscribers. I think a lot comes down to muscle memory. Just remember, Malcom Gladwell said that to become an expert in something you have to do it for 10.000 hours, which would be equivalent to 15.000.000 Mastery Points. So there is always room for improvement and I of course also do a lot of mistakes, so don't worry!
Hey mate, new irelia player here (around 20k mastery). I want to pick and play her for the rest of the season, is it better to play her in mid or top lane in s14 ? Looking forward to see your content !
I think it depends on your experience so far and playstyle. If you are used to playing top I wouldn't switch, same goes with mid. In general, I believe midlane is more complex, since you have to roam, gank and support your jungler a lot more than a toplaner would.
I didn’t realize that after you q a champion Irelia automatically autoattacks them meaning you don’t have to press right click on top of them, is this what the top Irelia player usually do instead?
It depends on your auto-attack settings, but if everything is set to normal that should be the case yes. You can take this as an advantage to make sure you don't start hitting minions or towers.
Well I think newer Skins generally work best, like Porcelain or Mythmaker. But tbh the differences are VERY small, so feel free to pick the skin you like the most.
I was really doubting on which ad mid champ to invest time to master, I really like both yone and irelia, but i really feel like choosing irelia is the right choice, all the time i found a guide of her the videos and the people that play her feel so passionate about the champ and are quality guides, it might be the right choice for my hwei/fizz/viktor champion pool
The “Minion Duet” tip I can give you as a 350k irellia is press E and Q at Exactly the same time… like a finger on both E and Q and press together I have found that to be the easiest way to perform it
Well I don't think indicators by themselves are bad, but you should definitely use Quickcast. What I do is I hold Q / W / E / R whenever I want to use a spell and click or let go, so that I can make use of the range indicator, but don't have to press the button twice. Hope that helps!
