@@LeonWilliams-q5x With time dedicated to this learning schedule you surely have work ethic to offer a company. Find something that you are interested in and learn, learn, learn. I will guarantee you will be more qualified than most that apply.
This is one of the best Linux tutorials I’ve come across. Comprehensive, concise and action-packed. No fluff! 1:18:53 of good stuff! I’ll always recommend this to those who are interested in learning Linux. Thank you! 👏🏾
07:35 Path of Working Directory? I honestly dont really know though. Sounds like it may fit the bill. Anyway, Thanks for your videos, this is the second one I'm watching, Subscribed.
Great video. Thanks for posting. Any chance you could share your desktop wallpaper? It’s so cool! Also, did you use AI to create the Linux book cover on your thumbnail for this video? If so which one did you use? When I create these types of images using AI, it never includes the text, or the text is there but doesn’t make sense. Again, thanks for posting useful content. 👍
Ha ha ha ha, as soon as you said let's kill the kernal with kill -9, it went to an ad, but because I'm on a crappy internet, it kind of paused for a minute.
@@NNAdmin gotcha. Thanks again for your hard work. Kali Does run amazingly via UTM on my M1 Max and it runs flawlessly bare metal on my 2012 Unibody 15" Mac as well. Such a great distro.I love these tutorials that you do. Im almost two years in from being a total newbie
Mac uses Unix underneath, so it has a lot of similarities to Linux, but not exactly the same. I think most of the commands will work, but can't confirm the flags. You would just need to find the terminal and check. Alternatively, you can download Virtualbox and setup a Kali VM. I have a video on how to install it on the channel.
@@NNAdmin I used Shazam at the beginning of the video but you were too fast and the app didn’t catch it, which is fine btw. Better this way than taking to long to start the content. Great channel. Got a new sub. 🫵🏼🙂
"chmod 4000 filename" | That command ensures that whenever filename is executed, it runs with the privileges of the file’s owner, regardless of who executes it, and no other read, write, or execute permissions are granted to anyone.
@Kjon48 I am assuming (and we all know what that means!) that you don't know how to change the background color of the terminal. But if you do, this is for the ones that don't know how, and want to know how. I use kde and these instructions are for Konsole. I just went to a search engine and typed "Change background of Konsole" . Your terminal will be whatever it is, if other than Konsole. Open Konsole>Open Menu(Upper Right Corner)>Create New Profile>in General Settings, you can give it a descriptive name should you wish; under that, check Default profile>in left column, go down to Appearance>choose whichever you prefer>Apply>OK There you have it! You can do this however many times you want to. Also, let's say you want to stick with one and remove the rest. That's easy to do: Open Konsole>Open Menu>scroll all the way down to More> choose Settings>Manage Profiles>choose one to Set as Default>OK>choose the one you want to remove>Remove>OK. Repeat until you are ok with what you have Take care
why, terminal looks great, has all the tools, and works great why use anything else since people who are watching this are all probably starting on kali
