Great video, what SIM card do you use for data travelling in Europe, have you had issues with being capped? Thx

Hi there! We have 2 currently one on EE and one on VOXI. The EE sim should have been capped technically by now as we’ve been away for more than 3 months but is still working for now. We bought the VOXI one a little later. VOXI has been great so far 👍 good signal, speed etc. AND you can add on packages such as unlimited video so RU-vid, Netflix etc doesn’t come out of your allowance. Which is ideal for us to upload videos. Plus you don’t have a 12 month contract, you can cancel whenever.

Hi. Love the vids. Quick question. When on a site can you charge your leisure batteries when on hookup.

Hi, thank you! Unfortunately we don’t have a way of charging up our leisure batteries on sites. We do have a way of plugging into the sites electricity if we need to, this will give the batteries a rest and allow the to top up if the sun is out. But we have no device to charge them, currently. But we do okay 👌 we’ve never been desperate for power as we have a large-ish solar panel and a split charge relay from the starter battery/alternator

Hi. We do sometimes, however we usually use it on our leisure battery setup. I sometimes charge the laptop driving and then when we park up, unplug the inverter from dash and into the 12v outlet I installed in the back of the van. Hope that makes sense

Cheers Matt! 🙏 we’ve been travelling for about 10 months or so now. In that time we’ve only used it a couple of times, usually on campsites where we’ll be for a couple of days. However, we’ve had it up for 5 weeks in Sardinia now and been really helpful. Will be ideal if we’re still stuck here when the real hot weather arrives. It’s a great bit of kit, just didn’t use it much until now. We also have the room that attaches too, that’s good as well.
