Essequibo: Extra Long Documentary Pt. 1,2,3: • Essequibo: Hidden Rive...
The last leg of the journey to the Essequibo's source turns out to be the most challenging: not only do the experts have to deal with the unpredictable moods of Mother Nature, but also with an outbreak of fever amongst the crew. Will they have to end their expedition early?

You may not know how much this exploration/adventure touches the heart of each Guyanese and the diaspora at large to realize what a gem Guyana happens to be. Superb adventure and your courage.🥲 Wish it is available in DVD format.🍁

Exploration of the source of the Essequibo was no easy task. It was tough. Very. But you persevered together with the skilled Guyanese cutting all those branches and navigating the narrow streams. Fascinating, for the team to have opened the way for future explorers. I hope this Eden like discovery will remain unspoiled for sometime. Thank you.

My Dad, who passed away a few years ago, worked in Guyana back in the late 1960's when I was just a toddler. He brought home a baby macaw one of the Indians had gotten out of a nest high up in a tree in the jungle. I grew up with that scarlet macaw from Guyana; we named her lady. It was wonderful to finally see this magical country full of jungle that my father talked about. What a tough expedition! Congratulations to the brave 14 people who managed to persevere through such harsh conditions to fulfill the goals of their expedition.
