The old "Milk Race" used to go up it.. Unrelenting and steeper the farther you get up it... Devils Staircase is another classic at back of Builth Wells on the Mountain Road.. The other side of the Bwlch is easier though from Bala ie the opposite direction if you want to get up it easier...

Its a mental climb init! I rode up it the other day, hella steep!

nice ride. note i'd consider a shorter stem and raising the stem slightly..for more comfort (unless you are a racer).
