Established: 35th North 

this winter me and my girlfriend broke up, so i ran up to seattle for the weekend to clear my head. walked into 35th north on a rainy saturday. the guys working there were truly the warmest people i'd met. of course, we fell into a conversation about skating: shoes that blow out too quickly, new parts, are the big boy pants *too big*? but beyond that: where to eat, grab a beer, play some pool, hear some live music. we must've talked for 30-40 mins. i walked in feeling the gloom and walked out with a sweatshirt, smiling in the rain. that visit changed the entire direction of the trip. a skate shop is so much more than just a skate shop -- it's really is a place to feel like a part of something, like you're not alone in this thing. i'd never been to seattle but knowing 35th north is there makes me want to visit again soon. they set the standard, and deserve every piece of shine they get. hope y'all get to see for yourself someday. one.

I grew up on 35th buying the slightly used boards they’d sell for cheap when I was like 16, and a $35 blank Powell board was too expensive! So friendly, just the best! Really made skateboarding possible for me as a kid with no money! Thanks guys!!! 🎉

I skated Marginal in 2006 when it was just a little bit of transition up the back wall and a cinder block ledge up against a support beam. Crazy to see what they've done with it. I think of 35 North I think of Josh Jones!

All city showdown was so awesome! I remember moving to Seattle and seeing those videos with spots around my apartment. Then, I would see kids over the next couple of years out there shredding, I knew when there was gonna be another sick video. It definitely brought me into the shop to support the people behind it.

20 years ago, I moved to China to teach English. I stopped in to 35th North before I left and Tony gave me some old Thrashers to bring with me. He was so kind!

Bought my first real board from 35th as a kid I didn’t even know how to put together they helped me and my friend. Also had amazing Nike SB collection. 35th is amazing company 👍
