Don't think he mentioned it but honeylocust beans are people food as well, and the honey locusts are great at assisting nitrogen fixing, which really helps pastures. It should be mentioned that they can be high protein so they would be a problem for horses. Much of this looks overgrazed, but I would assume much of the shorter grasses are due to these being earlier in the reclamation process... 29:09 the mushroom cultivation is a great stacking of use! 58:10 Our local butchers help farmers and ranchers by dealing with livestock onsite instead of hauling live animals. He could use natural methods to seal ponds instead of sackrete or tires. That bit makes me cringe...

If this practice was used around the world 🌎 the soil would grow about anything. Temperatures around the world would change.

They'd still need to add rainwater harvesting earthworks from onsite materials, but that would add incredibly to localized resilience everywhere.

A Johnson Su bioreactor might be a good way to inoculate the soil with micorhizal fungi
