As someone who hated cs1 and cs2, i actually don't know who had a better escape. Estelle was cool, but fighting enforcers with just rean was too epic. Imo both are equally good. Comically Azure being my fav was the least exciting escape, but it was a lot more emotional seeing lloyd being so down and ziet reveal was nice too.
@@wheelotime2581 In terms of pure aesthetics, no way. In terms of Story and plot his is the best hands down. Everything going wrong and the last person we expected to bring him back to his feet and sacrificing himself, and then almost having to give up again in the forest only to be rescued by Zeit, It was amazing. But Rean's and Estelles Escapes were more flashy. Estelle being basically a child compared to the enforcers and still trying to escape while Rean having insane abilities to fight 2v1 and then that dodge againt the Jaegers was clean. But I agree that Lloyds hit the hardest in terms of story and emotions, mean while Reans barely did anything. These are my opinions. P.S. Cant fault you for loving SC the most considering your channel name lol.
Naturally, Sky SC/CS2 spoilers below (just trying to be considerate of anyone who might passively scroll and find this): I don't really know how Rean's escape "barely did anything" in those terms. Everyone showed up to lend him a hand, so the escape itself might not have the same emotional impact as Joshua rescuing Estelle, but I found Rean's being there in the first place to be far more intriguing from a narrative perspective. Let's say Estelle joins Ouroboros: what happens? Butterfly effect, maybe, but what if Rean joins the alliance? For better or worse, he directly possesses the power to sway the conflict on his own and could have likely snuffed out the war in the matter of days if he made that decision, whereas Kevin and the rest of Estelle's partners can still get the job done without her if they really wanted to. Estelle's choice had primarily personal implications, whereas Rean's had national and perhaps even international ones. On second thought, I am of the opinion that Rean's has the emotional impact edge too for one reason and one reason only: Crow. When I played Sky SC, I felt like Estelle didn't have any true incentive for joining Ouroboros in the first place. Rean's dilemma was actually interesting to me, though, because there are people on both sides of the conflict that mean something to him personally. I guess there's Renne, but her story significance pales in comparison to Crow and Joshua has already burned his bridge with the antagonists. Rean also learns to control his ogre power here, which has more importance to me than anything that occurred during the Sky SC escape scene itself. To each their own, nonetheless.
@@BlueGrovyle i can see what I r getting to. Rean did talk to everyone and properly considered their motives. While for Estelle it was set in stone that she wouldn't join the group at all no matter what. And about Rean having national level consequences, I think this was my issue with cs1 and CS2, the story was really good but I personally wasn't able to connect with Rean. While in Sky the story was ok but I was able to connect personally with Estelle a lot more.
