Yay I'm excited for you!! But when I first start its not wet since I used an oil cleanser first. You always want to use it dry so it breaks down on the makeup and oil on your face from the day and then you wet it to get it a little soapy (that's why it turns a milky white) and it'll cleanse itself off then you go in with another foam cleanser to get the oil cleanser off and do a deeper clean then with just one cleanser. Hope this helps! :)

the motions I’m doing is just the dermalogica way, it’s the way my school taught me since we are a partnership with dermalogica we do facials using their techniques. my first movements are just application and spreading then I go in with cleansing movements (right around the 1:04 mark). but I would 100% recommend becoming an esthetician! I love it and I love learning more about the skin. just look into multiple schools, they usually give you financial aid to help pay tuition. if you’re really interested in going to school for this I think you’ll really love it because I’m learning more than just facials and I’m sure you will too at whatever school you choose!

Quick question, whag about materials? like the stuff you use to do facials as steamers and microblading, just facial gadgets ? do you need them in school ? how expensive are they and also after school, you personally, what are you planning to do ? get a job at a spa or just start your own brand ??

@@carlosbernal7047 we don't learn how to micro blade in esthetician school that's a different licensing you have to get outside of an esthetician license if you want to do eyebrows. but we use steamers too especially during exfoliation but it isn't a necessity unless the clients wants it. once you start school you should be given a kit of supplies like cleanser, brushes, moisturizer etc.

I put the mag lamp directly over the client and place my phone on top. I make sure the mag lamp is flat so my phone won’t fall. Also make sure you adjust and tighten all the hinges so it doesn’t fall

I would honestly recommend going to school for it if you’re interested!! It was one of the best experiences learning about the skin and being able to touch the face and know how to help people get the skin they want. My program offered eyelash extensions too so I basically killed two birds with one stone and I’m able to choose whatever field I want to go into. Whether it’s esthetics, eyelash extensions, or both

I use the esthetic wipes and warm water to rinse off between every step that needs it

I was using 4x4 esthetic wipes you can order a pack of them from Amazon! 😊

I edit everything on imovie either on my phone or my computer

hi thanks for all the advice but as you can clearly see in the video title i was still in training 🙂 this was in the earlier days of my time in school (only a few months in) so I was still working out the kinks and what works for me.

I would just say work your ass off and COME TO CLASS. I see a lot of girls just messing around and not taking it seriously especially when they’re so close to the end. Just stay focused and remember what you came there for and most importantly have fun learning and doing this. 😊

I’m doing a double cleanse so first cleanse Is with a oil cleanser followed with a a foaming cleanser and powder exfoliant that needs to be mixed with water before massaging to the face

No. This is meant to be a quick basic facial (only 30 mins) so its not meant to include the decollete

I used my phone and put it on the mag lamp on a multifunction machine to get the top view

I never said this was suppose to be a reference video though? Did you even read the title? Lol I was literally in training (as the title says) and this was earlier in my schooling days. Probably only like my third facial EVER that I gave. Never once did I say this is how you're suppose to do it or to use this video for reference when you're training. This was me and what I did as someone who was new to this and didn't have any training on.
