Comprehensive & correct info Architect, been under in PMCM before, I also like CSA as we're exposed to it..though am an EE, the concept is still applicable. God bless!
Thanks for the information Architect. I'm a new fan & subscriber here. But I just want to make clarification or verification. I think the no.of hours is not the rate of the mason & helper, it's the no. of hours to complete the 102.14 sq.m CHB laying. and the hourly rate is the rate per hour of the the workers. Then multiply it to no.of hours and no.of personnel equals the total amount. But overall topic is amazing and very informative. More power to you and God bless.
Very on point. 🙂 Thanks for this video, very informative. Napa-subscribe tuloy ako haha 😁
Hi Ar Maestro nangungulit po ulit 😅. Im under Diversified Working Experience and im still not fully knowledgeable in terms of Project Estimates. Can you please send a pdf file of BOQ and a sample Bill of Prelimenaries for my study reference😍. Thank you in advance. MORE POWER PO TALAGA MAESTRO😊😊😊
Sir baka naman meron kang downloadable xcel file nyan Sir. Malaking tulong for fellow architects yan. Shout out Sir. Always watching your video. Architect Mel Pingol here ng Bulacan.

Thank you.
Sir yung computation mo ng cost estimate / bill of materials for building permit application.
Sir i would like to ask. Magkano ang singil ng Architect for Preliminary costings/Bill of quantities/specification documents only... What is the basis for professional fees ? Thank you very much po.
Thank you in advance po.
Sir meron bang safe standard percentage or rule of thumb para maassess yung cost ng equipment to be used in relation to materials. Like what you said po yun labor is between 35 to 45 percent of the material cost. How about kaya sa equipment? Thank you so much po.
Sir thanks for the inquiry. Marami po sa internet, owedi rin mo sa mga QS firms meron din sila ginagamit of their own like RLB, Arcades, POMI, SMM7, SMM7, Hongkong Rules for Measurement. In Government contracting Sir we have the DPWH Blue Book.
Sir may concern po uli ako. Pano po kung nag produce po tayo ng ganyang proposal para sa client, tpos sa time na inispend para gwin ito, in the end sa iba pala ppnta ang client? Pano po kaya mallock in? Si client? Or atleast ung time na nilaan to produce these documents ay paid
@@maestro_coffeetalk noted po sir. sir someday i hope ma tackle nyo po yung sa management ng manpower or workers. as a new contractor po, in my opinion ndi gnun ka reliable ang workers, you never know, ndi sila gnun ka predictable, unlike say engineers na more likely will show up. kaso ang hirap ung mga workers po ay direct na nagwwork on sa project
Hi sir!
Kung walang service agreement you violate the code of ethics
Gumagamit po kami dito ng CESMM3 at NRM for method of measurement. Balak ko po sana mangontrata sa Pinas, san po ako makakakuha nung Rules of Measurement and Trade Preambles in PH? Salamat po.
You can use some docs you have right now, or you may use HK Rules for measurement to fit in the asean region. You may just re align it to here later base on industry practices prescribed by CIAP.
If it is a lump sum contract, the 90 received shall be converted into 100.. If it is remeasuravle still rhe entry should be 100... Unless it is aa product of value engineering... Soon in completion, there should be a re-alignment of cost in determining final account of the Contractor prior to close out of the project and that account must be recorded as an ajusted to to actual accomplishment of the work.
@@prempatel1777 yes. Because the general rule is the Contractor should complete the work in accordance with the plans and specifications and the contract requirements, tye BOQ during consultation operates as the basis of the measurement of payment accomplishment and not as the conclusive basis of the materials needed to the project.
@@bugoyjavier5934 para tumbo ka you have the profit margin.. Which usually 10-15 %... You need to check your instructions to bidders... The bills of prelims is computed base on the requirement overhead of the project
