According to your statement , Sand for 1000 sqft= 250 cft Cement used =30 bag=1500 kg Weight of cement = 41kg per 1 cft. Volume of cement=1500/41=37 cft Cement mortar ratio= 37:250 i.e. 1:7 Usually cement mortar 1:3 is being used for laying tiles. Cement mortar you have used seems. to be very lean mixing. Please explain this. Is there any calculation mistake in arriving at the volume of cement.
