Very good midfield play from Wilshere, but Rooney missed far too many chances for a player of his calibur and made this seem closer than it was. Still, a win is all that was required and we got it.

England's biggest problem is this flavour of the month feel. There is never a constant. its always experiment. pick a team and keep playing it. Why is the national team treated different to club football. We all know you should let a team gel so why doesn't roy?

I'm sorry though, but England really needs to reconsider another striker other than Rooney. He's okay but just feel he just isn't the player. Besides, he's way too overrated.
