When they playing in New Orleans in '05, I grabbed Tim outside and requested this song. He said they hadn't played it in month, but would ask the guys. They then played a 30 minute extd version which melted the faces of the 25 people in attendence. best concert ever. best band ever.

I got to freestyle(!) with these cats like ten years ago. They're so open to anything! I also played with Tim in a college orchestra and a small Chamber trio. I love these guys. I forgot how much I loved this band until I stumbled across this video. Truly mind blowing brilliance.

When I first heard this album, this song being track 1, it completely changed my outlook on music today. I had finally found a band of ridiculous musicians combining their talents for the better, not just trying to show each up. I miss John, I wish he was still in the band :(

I wish I had embraced them sooner! My sister sent me a link to the SMB2 theme song they did years ago and I didnt think to look them up then. DOH! Seriously though the chemistry in this band reminds me of myself and a close friend when we jam. Creating imagery and vibes through music. Like TOOL!

Funny. At the show (or perhaps it was one of the other Estradasphere shows at Kuumbwa), they claimed to be the first group to play metal at the Kuumbwa Jazz Center. It is both metal and jazz. Great stuff!

This song embodies the term "endurance", talk about insane. Playing 5 minutes of this song seems like it would be exhausting. I can't imagine playing this whole song as the drummer, and then going on to do the rest of a show.

John "Whoolilicious!" Whooley left the band a few years ago. He is currently most active as "Mojow and the Vibration Army", a musical/artistic project with his wife Moriah. Do a RU-vid search on "Whoolilicious!" for a whole bunch of my videos that include Jon. Google "Mojow and Vibration Army" to find what they're up to now. I filmed Vibration Army at a festival recently and hope to have some of their videos up soon.
