Las fotografías de Ortiz Echagüe ‘Roncalesas’ sirve al coreógrafo Jon Maya de inspiración para construir, a través de su danza, un relato que une el contexto pandémico de la época fotografiada, con el presente y el futuro al que nos encaminamos. Tres bailarinas personifican la gripe del siglo XX en un confinamiento interior. La rueda imparable del tiempo nos invita a revisitar un pasado que tiende un puente hacia un nuevo futuro.
La música es del compositor Luis Miguel Cobo y gira en torno a Bach, artista que inspira el famoso ‘Homenaje a Bach’ de Jorge Oteiza, pieza de la colección ubicada en una de las salas del Museo donde tiene lugar parte de esta coreografía.
Esta es la primera pieza coreográfica-audiovisual del proyecto 'A puerta cerrada' (museo.unav.edu.... La segunda pieza 'Situaciones' se estrenó el viernes 19 de junio de 2020.

The pictures "Roncalesas" by Ortiz Echagüe are the inspirational source for the choreographer Jon Maya. The artist builds through his dance, a story connecting the current pandemic context with the one suffered by the people in the pictures. A vivid connection between the past, present and the future we are all facing. Three dancers personify the flu of the twentieth century in an inner confinement. The unstoppable wheel of time invites us to revisit a past that bridges a new future.
The music is by composer Luis Miguel Cobo, revolves around Bach, the artist who inspired Jorge Oteiza's famous 'Homage to Bach', a piece from the collection located in one of the Museum's rooms where part of this choreography takes place.
This is the first choreographic-audiovisual piece of the project 'A puerta cerrada' (museo.unav.edu.... The second piece 'Situaciones' was premiered on Friday June 19, 2020.
