It's also important to know that estrogen is doing good things to female body. Exactly like testosteron does for male body. I see in menopause community talking about the estrogen dominance and how dangerous the estrogen is, but in reality the problems with menopause is coming from the lack of estrogen. In perimenopause, there is a period with lots of estrogen and too little progesteron because the product of progesteron falls before the production of estrogen, but it's a phase you passes. In menopause estrogen is in deficient which causes symptoms and affects bones, hearts, brains etc negatively

Awesome interview!!! I have reoccurring polyps and my Gyni Dr says it’s bc of producing too much estrogen. He can only offer sx to get rid of the symptom. But I want to address the cause. I asked my GP for hormone blood work and a referral to a Endocrinologist. But boy oh boy is hormone balance really like opening Pandora’s box! LOL! Thanks for all of this information! Hmm, i don't agree with you sir. First off estrogen dominance affects digestion, absorption etc. in the gut. Also, just because your menopausal doesn't mean low dose of progesterone won't hurt. In this current world we live longer then many other generations so long term affects into 70's, 80's and 90's of low any hormone is unclear it doesn't hurt and actially can help in moderate dosage of hormone therapy. If your testicles were doing what a womans overies do on menopause you would run out and do all you had to find a way to deal with it and not be in pain.
That's a great question. I've heard great things about the DUTCH test from other guests on the podcast although have not personally used. But for hormone issues yes I'd recommend based on other guest's experiences.
