I forgot to mention in the video that I was using low speed and light pressure.

Wow. An amazing job for the first time. I should try it some day. At least something very simple. Thanks for sharing. By the way, did you change/mix-up the intro? (or am I mixing up things now?)

You should try it Hans! No- I’ve been thinking about a new intro, but this is still the old one. Do you use a translator? Your English is really good.

@@sashaskapar2324 Don't change the intro. It's a very good one. Thanks for your compliment on my English. No, I don´t use a translator. My English is, unfortunately, much better than my woodworking and craft skills. Lately I bought some templates and this evening I wanted to decorate some wooden tea-light holder which I made. A total failure. At first I painted the four sides of each holder white and let the paint dry. Some hours later, when the white paint was totally dry, I used green paint for the decoration i.e. filling in the templates with paint. But the paint got under the template so the result was terrible. Of course I only noticed this after removing the template when the green paint was more or less dry. I decided to make the green non-ornaments invisible by painting those sides green. I have three other sides to try some alternatives. If you have a good idea please let me know. I'll go searching on the internet as well. (both the white and the green paint are water-based and applicated with a classical paintbrush

Whenever I use templates, I trace them with a pencil, remove the template, then apply the paint. I can never get a good finish if I leave the template in place while painting. I hope that helps!

@@sashaskapar2324 Thanks for the tip! I'll try it. Maybe it won't work with the templates I used (in the meanwhile) yesterday, here. because they were rather small. I need to pick some wider template and try at first on a piece of scrap wood. I have to train my hand and arm to be steady.

For now I've found an easy solution because I had no time left to experiment with other things. I used a sharpie for painting/coloring the open parts of the template. it's not ideal but better than the paint which went everywhere.

so a rounder tip is better to smoothen out an area?
