I once played an unranked match with him. Everything went good in the early game to mid game. I could sense that we were in a big lead, until he fought 1v5 in late game death after death and blew it. Then started flaming the team and destroyed all his items. This dude is the definition of crybaby. It was around the time when he was with Fnatic.

Seeing his stream multiple times, Envy build and hero is too rigid. He is stuck with the same build and playstyle for years. Too reckless and have a huge ego while commanding his team to babysit him 24/7. and yes, dude tries to manfight so many times against multiple heroes and it is dumb.

There is a fine line between being genius and being stupid. Envy is often crossing between the two. Some people will remember him in fails , like this compilation but he also orchestrated the level 1 rosh bait and similar stuff. Ana is decent. He seemed godlike because OG had JerAx to save him should things go wrong, so he can make risky plays but can still fall back on someone should the risk becomes too much to bear. In term of farming pattern, Rtz is considered by analysists to be better than Ana. In term of laning ability, I can list at least 5 pro-players that are better than him (back when he plays mid, he lost to most pro mid players at that time). Even recently, Ana got beaten quite badly by Nikobaby and the Alliance gang, further backing up my statement

We've met on ranked game I supposed to reach 9k but suddenly he threw the game because my other teammate playing OD did not reach him to use astral imprisonment to save him at early clash. Game used to be more flexible and players didn’t really have the game locked down like a lot more do now, 4k would be pro a few years ago, the game is harder due to people more competent now, you get punished a lot more by the meta and the game than you used to... like comeback mechanics are in the toilet and any mistake or tilt can just lose the game easy now... back then every game could feel either way

Yo some people are really serious about EE being like this. Take a chill pill for your hate pls, not everyone is able to be on top teams and win lans, specially when the AVG MMR is 3k. Yeah Envy isnt good now, but he was pretty decent many years ago and did a lot of stuff to at least be relevant aside his mistakes. I dont like the guy but he dropped HIS OLD LIFE in order to ACHIEVE HIS DREAM, and Im pretty sure th majority of you havent come that close.

EE is mechanically sound, but if he had half the mind of Bulba (who has gotten to where he is now because he's really really smart) and the heart of Notail, he'd be a good player who'd be playing at a level near tier 1 right now. His decision making is impulsive and irrational, which isn't what you want from a carry, captain, and team leader (remember Peezza Partee?). It's not a coincidence that his most successful period was when he played with Puppey - an overwhelming individual who can override EE's poor decision making.

the problem with this guy is he tries to do so much, he always tries to be this stylistic player who wants to make the big plays instead of playing into his team's strengths. Majority of the team he joins, he was the captain and he plays the carry. Look at the other successful teams like Secret, Liquid, OG etc...
